Where do you legally download your music from? Anyone used MUSICMP3.RU?

Just looking for a bit of advice in the best places to download tunes. I have stumbled across a site called MUSICMP3.RU which has pretty much all tracks and albums you could want and albums work out about 80p for 12 tracks. Anyone used this? Advice on other sites would be appreciated. Cheers

Just because you pay for something doesn't mean its legal. The site you use obviously pirate their material and then charge small fees to anyone... unique enough to use them

If you get the 12 tracks for 80p package they're not the officially released songs, they are covers by a West African bongo trio.

Just the .RU domain suffix raised my eyebrows. I'd be very wary if I were you. I've heard Amazon is good but I haven't actually used it myself.

Google 'Hotspot Shield' and download it if you're using Torrents. If you just want to hide your IP address within your browser, Google 'proxy server'.

I use the mp3 downloader thing on Amazon, as I use them for buying DVDs etc it is easily convenient and you can play a sample of all the versions so you don't download something that isn't kosher
