If rumours are true...... how can our 3rd kit possibly be purple, when we only tend to use it vs Villa and West Ham away (who play in purple!!)

am excited about 3rd kit. am hoping for yellow though, not that weird purple one doing the rounds online. point about villa and west ham is good argument. imo its all sunderlands fault. we cant play in normal red kit and our black away kit will clash with them. the 3rd kit cant be white either as it will also clash with thier shirts. i think thats why warrior are considering more vibrant kits than our traditional red white and black colours

Don't Villa and West Ham play in claret and blue?

I'd like a 3rd kit similar to the one we had in 08/09 (green) but it seems unlikely given that we have a green kit as the home goalkeeper kit. I'm hoping it isn't the purple one that is circling the web at the moment.

our 3rd kit is the Europa kit.

the sites where it said it was purple got the home and away kit very wrong so i doubt its purple

To be fair, they didn't get the home kit very wrong.

That Purple kit is truly shocking. Love the new 1st and 2nd kit but will feel a little embarrassed to see our team play in the purple one - so like many I'm hoping it's a wind up.

My Son asked me if it was the woman's one

The home kit looks good on the pictures, but it looks very cheaply made and of poor quality in real life, and that was really disappointing.

The grey part around the collar just spoils the away kit.

Going by Warriors theme of "modern tradition", I expect them to unveil a yellow 3rd kit. So far, they have yet to disappoint me since I love the two kits shown so far. Here is hoping they continue that trend.

Each to their own. I don't think it looks cheap at all

The only time we'd need the purple one is if we play Milan away. By the time that happens we'll have replaced it.

The quality of the home kit is awful, very thin material, feels like it will rip if you fart near it, the quality of the Nike MU kit is far superior.

As for the away kit, the designer should be sacked, awful.

Agree on the kits.... they`re not the best!!

The home kit has a nice retro look to it, but the material is awful......it`s more like a cheap club shop polo!

The away kit is OK except for the grey bit - makes it look like a wetsuit!

I love the home and away kits personally I think they have went back to the simpler design and have a retro feel to them and not have the three stripes on the arms.

If it was the purple one I think i would just laugh and by it purely for the different value of the shirts that it is nothing that we have seen with the Liverpool crest on it. From the designs which came out before the official release of the home and way shirts i don't think it will be the purple on because they didn't get the home and away shirts 100% right by any stretch of the the imagination.

the home kit, and the away kit look pretty fine to me.
the quality of the home shirt aint too bad either.
not sure on the purple though!! but lets wait and see, i'll pass judgement on the 3rd kit when its revealed.
