    Source mate ?

I don't think he'd snub the champions [better team, big money] to join Liverpool but whatever. If it's true WOW. Not only a good player but also a good person.

i dont believe he would snub city just to join 2 Uruguayan Compatriots, maybe because he would be guaranteed first team football with the reds, but i think this story is nonsense, wheres the link?

The Uruguayans are a tight bunch and they are all on the national team together (very very tight group of friends). I've lived in Uruguay 3 years and just got back from Montevideo for the Venezuela match two weeks ago. Given chances for starting/being a star at Liverpool (versus ManCity) and having Coates and Suarez at Anfield, I think it is a HUGE factor in our favor, and could really see Ramirez coming if we put up the cash that Bologna is demanding. I really hope he comes... I'd love to see suarez and ramirez playing behind and to either side of Carroll up front, or with Ramirez in the center attacking role behind carroll, with downing and suarez wide (or Elia or another winger if we can land one to compete with Downing for the role).

Looks an AVERAGE player to me, for potentially £16m! I would love someone to post a clip that shows me otherwise...

Along with making up source storys he also suggests Matt Jarvis would be a quality signing ( i think he may be blind too)

Apparently City are set to sell Nasri and bring him in. Shame I like Uruguayans. Him and Cavani as unrealistic as they are, would be amazing

Fingers crossed we get Ramirez, be a super addition to the squad and theres been a lot of talk about it, hopefully the Suarez factor could be the deciding factor but until we see him holding the jersey at a press conference I wouldnt get my hopes up

Gaston Ramirez would be a superb addition and showing real ambition, which most of the bargain players we are linked to currently lack. Bring him in!!!

I've been a G Ramirez fan for over a year now & the player has been constantly improving, he's style of play suited our previous managers formations better as I think he's best position is behind a striker, as it's very popular known in S America as a number 10, in BR's possible formation of 4-3-3 (we don't know yet) he could play in one of the wide roles up front rather than in midfield where some people are suggesting, the player is fast & tricky & you don't want to waste his attributes & make him work too much in midfield, I would much rather have him playing with Luis up front & someone else on the other side of the trident like they call it in Spain, the man has goals in him & is stronger than he looks, I've had the pleasure of watching him play regularly for Bologna because I follow the Italian league closely & most other leagues too, Spanish, Dutch, German, Brazilian, Argentinian & I think he would be a good signing, but you can never be 100% sure of that, all transfers come with a risk.

I noticed some people mentioned Cavani, it's not 100% but Napoli have agreed to sell him to an unnamed Club, rumoured to be Paris Saint Germain. Cavani also leaked that CSKA London "enquired" about the Striker and wanted to enter talks.

SkySportsNews reported it a few days ago.
