The Euros have been a bit of a let down so far.No real talent has emerged.

Spain are actually very boring to watch. all this tika taka, tip tap around untill they carve out an opening. Like waiting for a kettle to boil.

Lets hope Andy gets on and shows some good old fashioned centre forward play, give somebody a 4 armed smash, thug it up a bit.

I would have taken Lennon and played, Carroll with Defoe, Lennon and Downing, Gerrard & Parker. Attack and to hell with the consequences. Spud face with that dead rat on his head in place of Lennon when he's available.

    That front 6 would win it.....Downing, Carroll,Defoe,Rooney,Gerrard,Parker.

Harsh, what about yarmalenko and Konoplank..whatever from Ukraine?Hummels has been great, Mikkelson for the danes too, also Dzagoev. I think you're being a bit unfair.

Dont think they have been a let down atall, goals a plenty and some great close games. As for Spain i do agree can become tedious alot of passing for passing sake.

Mmm, thought it's been far better than for instance the last world cup and I've really enjoyed it so far, some excellent games and not one goalless draw in sight

Yep, Poland vs Russia was enjoyable, Holland v Denmark I enjoyed into, I can't actually recall a game where I've been bored or thought this is going nowhere.

Not sure what more, from the early stages, football fans could want from the tournament, perhaps not enough 6-6 draws or something...

Pretty much this. We've had upsets (denmark/holland), big name players perfoming (Gomez, schweinsteiger, Pirlo, iniesta), young talent emerging (Hummels, the ukranian boys, dzagoev), decent refereeing for once and a normal ball. Add to this the fact ronaldo is, as usual, garbage on the international scene and throwing some spectacular tantrums on a regular basis....top, TOP tournament.

tired of hearing how great the irish fans are. let's face it,it's their first tournament for well over a decade so their fans are making the most of it.bidg deal! hey can't even sing filds of athenry as good as we sing fields of anfield road.

also tired of the tv focusing on the slightest bit of trouble and blowing it all out proportion.

and finally, the racism problem, blown out of aLL PROPORTION YET AGAIN

    This times 10.

Mark Lawrenson is the worst of the 2 though imo. Every time he speaks I feel like putting my foot through the tv. Thank god were on ITV tomorrow. Something which I never thought I'd say. And as for his little dig at Ibrahimovic for waring pink boots, pottle kettle and black comes to mind.

Right about the racism, also all the talk about hooliganism. Think Sky must take some blame, putting out that documentary about all these local thugs waiting for the English and the rest. Sol Campbell as well, making some remark about fans coming back in coffins.

Has been the odd flashpoint but by and large it looks as if it's going OK...so far.

He does my crust in as well. Some snide remarks on the news this morning about Ukraine being like Florida but without the service. Great player for us but a woeful pundit.

Last night was pretty boring spain against croatia and italy against ireland, in fact the group everyone said was boring had become one of the best groups

"England just need to get through the first two games and survive till Rooney's back" seriously, I dont think he'll make much difference tbh, though he might offer more than big andy, I still thik we'll still play pretty much at the same level as in the first games, cant see him being that much of a factor tbh, I'd be just as happy continuing as we are if we had too.
