Yah, with players like Babel, N'gog, Jovanovic & Konchesky (shouldn't be here if not for Roy who shouldn't shouldn't be here in the first place) making the bench and reserves team don't look too bad. And with youngsters like El Zhar and Nemeth available to be sold at a profit to boost the transfer funds for better players.
With Rafa managing, our team now (players still playing in top flight football) if there is money from either the Moores or the 2 Assmericans idiots to spend and sustain the team,

How about a team makes up from our old boys that are still playing in the top flight managed by one of our ex-manager?

Utd wor still have pique, Tevez and ronaldo, arsenal fab, nasri, adebayor plus others. All teams could do the same, we have sold them, not necessarily for the good but move on.
I have to agree because the premise of the thread ignores two more important factors as well as the players just going on a Bosman.
1. If it wasn't for the sale of players like Xabi would we have had the funds to buy players that were bought into the squad.
2. If it wasn't for the sale of players like Arbeloa would we have needed to buy the likes of Johnson.
if we hadn't sold Torres do you think we would have still bought Carroll?
