    Justice for the 96!
When you walk through a storm
    Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark

At the end of the storm
    Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

    Walk on through the wind
    Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
    And you'll never walk alone
    You'll never walk alone

    You'll never walk alone.

May god be with you and you are always in our hearts as the kop rocks and Anfield cheers the reds onto victory, You will never be forgotten

A PRAYER OF COMFORT FOR THE FAMILIES AND FRIENDS OF THE 96

    I walked a mile with Pleasure;
    She chatted all the way;
But I was none the wiser
For all she had to say.

I walked a mile with Sorrow
    Never a word spoke she;
But oh! The things I learned that day
    When sorrow walked with me

Heavenly Father, the families and friends of the 96 have walked so many miles with sorrow and still their journey continues.
Tonight we pray for them all, knowing that each of the families have their own memories, heartaches and sorrows to bear.

Minister your comfort in their ongoing trauma.
Bind up the wounds of their painful memories.
Bring healing to their broken hearts and grant them 'the peace that surpasses all understanding' in the midst of their pain.

Where there is injustice bring truth
Where there is anger bring calm
Where there is weakness bring strength
Where there is weariness bring rest
Where there is doubt bring faith
Where there is despair bring hope
Quieten their fears, dry their tears and heal their hurt.

We ask this in the name of Him who is 'the man of sorrows and acquainted with grief' who brings hope to all our hearts, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The families have lived for 23 years with this horrible injustice, burdened by unimaginable loss and have courageously fought for truth and justice. They have the truth, now for justice. Equally, those guilty of this atrocity have lived for 23 years hoping the truth would never come out. They sowed the wind, now may they reap the whirlwind! JFT96

Yesterdays report will never bring the 96 souls back to their families and friends.

The scant consolation is that Liverpool and its proud people were right all along.

The police, Ambulance service, Sheff council and media all did their best to discredit our loyal fans
    and their loving bereaved.

I hope with all my heart that all those responsible still alive get their just desserts.

Respect for the 96 from an overseas fan.

The report finally brought the truth and some,if scant consolation to the families.
It showed the world the lies that were painted on the innocent Liverpudlians by the media, the police, the government. The most damning truth is that many more could've been saved which felt utterly disgusting to me.
However, this does not mean that we have achieved closure for the 96 and their families. Those who were responsible must be held guilty and get the punishment they deserve.

The lives of the 96 and the bereavement of their families must never be forgotten.

    Truth today, Justice tomorrow

Why did I cry when listening to the Prime Minister exonerating the Liverpool fans of all blame?
Why did I cry when listening to Margaret Aspinall thanking everyone for their unflagging support.
Why did I cry when listening to Kenny Dalglish read out the names of the perished 96.
Why did I cry when reading McKenzie's snovelling attempt at a regret.

    Why do I cry?

It's because I am Scouse, and have felt just a fraction of the pain that these families have felt for 23 years. How difficult it must have been fighting through all the lies, and hatred, yes hatred that was smeared all over their good names.

I cry because, the truth has come out and that "my family" of fellow Scousers can seek Justice with a whole lot more in their favour than has been for the last 23 years.

I am a 58 years old male and I can now cry tears of relief.
    God bless the 96.

PS If you are in Malta and see a blue Vectra with the number plate HJC 496. give me a hoot.

The Hillsborough families have my utmost respect. Their love for their lost ones was far more powerful than the State that tried to silence them! You are a shining light to us all

I dedicate my 10,000th post to those who went to a football match on the 15th of April 1989 and never got to go home safe & sound to their Families,Loved Ones & Friends. I also spare a thought for those long suffering Families,Loved Ones & Friends and what they have endured and done since the tragedy to rightfully justify the memory of the ones that they sadly lost.
