So far this season we've seen the ugly side of football, on and off the pitch. And then there's West Brom. What a breath of fresh air. They could be up to 3rd place by this afternoon and to me that's the Beautiful Game. Good luck to them.

    YNWA.

Because On paper they have no right to be up there. It's all down to pure team work.

They've done nothing for me to bare them any ill-will. Hope they enjoy it while it lasts.

Oh, Olsson is a ****, but other than that.

Let's see where they end up come the end of the season. Then let's see if they can repeat this kind of form next season.

Agree with both of these points. Could yet hit a bad slump that kills off their great season though. Regardless, Clarke is presently doing a good job.

It's all down to Clarke really. Criminal to let him go so easily.

The over reaction on here would make you think this was a kindergarten forum. They are doing well no doubt but you would think the season was over next week. It's not even January yet. We've seen many instances like this and wouldn't suprise me if they had relegation form in the 2nd half of the season.

Double standards as always on here.... Half this forum were saying Chelsea would **** the league and Everton were playing the best footy in the country only a month ago.

Chelski were going well and tbh they always start a season well, fallen away under Scolari, AVB and well Di Matteo didnt get tht chance really.

And your just realising now that Football fans are fickle?

He's not ok. Harry Redknapp is back in the premier league and Rafa is the Chelsea manager. Not to mention Gerrard is still a first teamer.

Teams don't rant against refs if they are winning, there is no racism in 99% of games. As for being quietly spoken. Who cares? I love the drama of football which includes flamboyant managers, bickering between clubs and mad owners.

Steve clarke has done really well and good luck to him, im sure he is surprised himself at how well they have done. Those calling him a great manager already are talking ***** though.

    Good for them.

But 5 weeks ago everyone was creaming over the swashbuckling Everton.

    Haven't won a game since.

You are the one over-reacting: nobody is saying they are gonna win the league, just appreciating what is being done so far. Nothing else

Was very impressed with them today, when Sunderland scored to make it 2-1 i was expecting it to be all Sunderland the rest of game, attack after attack to get a point atleast. Yet WBA didnt panic, they were very composed and had even better chances than Sunderland. WBA played some good stuff to.

Its hard to see if they will carry on this form but so far so good for Clark. By far the manager of the season so far.

I must have missed your posts saying it was criminal of us letting him go and that he would be 3rd with West Brom in November.
