The sad face was for number 98, not Fowi.

Just did it, and actually shed a few tears when I read back some of the quotes.

I never knew 1935RED, but I got quite emotional reading it. Sounded like a good guy.

    It was beautiful.

I have to say you've really outdone yourself on this whole thing. I don't know if you can keep up this level of interest for the whole 100, but it's really provided a lot of people with a fun distraction from the maddening-ness of the transfer window and the lack of football, and the amount of effort you've put into it is absolutely immense.

I can't remember who I voted for, but if I could vote again, I'd definitely give you one of my votes just for the excellence and innovation you have shown in running this whole thing, not just the concept and execution, but also the level of involvement. The number 98 was very moving indeed.

REP POINT TOTALS FOR THE TOP 100.

Mods... Extra work but hey its the close season, anyway we could get to see the scores on the doors for the top 100's rep position at the time of its demise?

Just be interesting to see I reckon.

    Cheers

I don't think it can be done.
Unless Jannno or LJOC have access to each poster's rep points.

It's probably best leaving rep out of it.

Any memories of him to share?

It would be great if a few of the longer term posters had some stories.
Even better if (very unlikely I know) the had some posts of his copied and saved somewhere.

Such a pity most of his posts got pruned.

No, long gone . Well about a year and a bit I think. Was only asking as we get every month or so a thread debating whether it should return or not . Plus be fun to see how many red squares the winner had.

I generally don't like these things, as they give people too much of a sense of self-importance, and due to them being very much of the moment, not enough people from the past who should be remembered are remembered (hence why 1935Red, one of my nominations, was so low down on the list, and why Billy Liddell is never voted greatest-ever player, even though many old-timers reckon he was), but I think tweepie has done an excellent job so far, and would like to congratulate her.
