I've had no problems, barring the usual break up due to trees etc blocking the signal from the motorbike cameras.

I'm watching on Eurosport HD on Sky.

I think the live coverage that SkySports is giving us is from SBS..... Matt Keenan does the major part of the commentary, and then Phil Legget and Paul Sherwen take over for the last 50k or so, as they are then free of the exclusive contract with NBC, as I understand it.

The sound balance was awful for the first 2-3 days, unusually for the Tour, but seems okay now.

Sounds like you are getting the ITV commentary.

Eurosport have Sean Kelly and Carlton Kirby from start to finish...and it's really entertaining...and informative.

Maybe at the end with Phil and Paul... but most of the commentary is for OZ, with Matt and Robbie McEwen (both Aussies)... I've got used to them.

That was one scary descent, but brilliant from Chris. Took Quintara completely by surprise. he was having a drink and Froome was whoosh, off into the distance.

He's withdrawn from the Olympics as well, now... says he wants to get right for the Vuelta.

And a very watchable last few k in stage 10... Matthews takes the stage ahead of Sagan, who gets the green jersey back. Smiles all around.

What a farce at the end of todays stage -

Froome running without a bike after the crowd take out the camera bike.....

    watching a replay.

The motorbike in front of Richie Porte brakes - we can't see why - and Porte goes into the back of it.

Bauke Mollema and Chris Froome crash into Porte. They all go down.

You can only assume the motorbike has stopped because of the crowd...

Yea, but this is the French we are talking about. Their lax attitude towards spectators is putting the integrity of the race and, more importantly, the safety, of riders at risk, as well as to themselves. What will it take for them to take action? A death? if so, hope it's one of these idiots and not a rider or innocent bystander.

Never changed the result before - they have set a precedent here today

Well they have taken measures, but let themselves down today. According to the pundits on tv here they decided last year that the last 2km would have fences and it did until they moved the finish 6km down because of the wind.

In sprints if there is a crash within last 3km is it? They give everyone the same time and thats pretty much what they have done here so even though that isnt the rule in climbs common sense prevailed. When it comes to crowd control they can surely do a better job, Cant remove the crowds completely either and the riders dont want that either so what do you suggest? Thankfully these kind of things are rare, but it shouldn't happen at all ofcourse.

The 3km rule does not apply on mountain climbs finishes

These things are happening all the time. Not with a bike camera, but with spectators interfering with riders. They should have more police to ensure safety of both riders and watchers, and heavily fine anyone whose actions directly affect the race.

I don't think the French police force needs to be stretched to protect a bunch of blokes playing at bikes .

The crowds behaviour is ridiculous. The riders know before they peddle off what expect from them. Neither can complain when it goes wrong .
