Really like the look of this guy. Left footed, skilful, can operate on both flanks and usually hits double figures in goals. Think he is only 23 years old and already a key player for his country. I think he would be worth going for. Thoughts?

I like him and the other Ukranian Konoplyanka. We could possibly sign them both for the 35million Spurs have reportedly paid for Willian, and still have change to put towards a centre back

Agreed. Think that would be really good business plus it doesn't appear as though many teams are chasing them either.

Really hope we can pull this signing off......Wouldn't mind Konoplyanka while we're at it as well.

Sure you've never heard of him?

Was the talk of the Euro group stage with it being Englands group if I remember correctly.

Wondering if Levy does have a habit monitoring this forum, saves a bit money from paying the scouts. Don't think he have one...

I hope this deal goes through from what I've seen but only link I've seen at minute is bookies slashing odds and they not always right we were favourites for Scott Sinclair not long ago

I'm aware that the quality of Italian and Ukrainian league isn't on the same level, however if we compare Yarmo to Lamela - the stats are pretty similar.

Yarmolenko is good if we can get him for around 14m max but IMO, he comes after Lamela, Shaqiri and Griezmann in that order.

I had never heard of him so YouTubed him. He looks like a box of tricks, maybe needs to work on his end product a bit, but the same is said for any young skillful dribbler at 23 if we could get him for 15-20million I think his value would only rise.

He'd be perfect as a Downing-replacement. Usually a right sided winger, and I guess he has forty-ish goals to his name in approx 120 matches for Dynamo Kiev. Pretty good for a winger, I'd say. And even if he's quite tall, he's also technically very gifted.
If my memory serves me well, I think he plaid RW against England last summer (and with Konoplyanka on LW)

He's been at Chicken Kiev all of his fledgling career. I think he'll most definitely be moving this transfer window. Question is where? Surely all of the top clubs are aware of him

Worth a punt if we're interested, just hope we put in a decent first offer and get to the front of the queue right from the get go.

Take him and Konoplyanka together with Papa. That would be excellent.

An ideal acquisition reminds of that Ruskie who played for Utd and then Everton

You are right 370, and they both scored excellent goals

I have been suggesting to those who are gutted that we lost our on Willian that to get them both for 25m to 30 million would represent much better value and potential goal scoring threats

Well said pouldh, in fact I posted the same thing yesterday suggesting those 3 on top of the other signings we had made this year (since January) would have to be considered the cherry, on top of the cream, on top of the icing, on top of the cake that is soaked in booze

For me we would have an excellent squad, with loads of attacking threats, strength in depth and as Papa can play DM our only potential weak point would be an injury to Mignolet as I don't believe Jones is Premiership quality

We'd have to give them all nicknames or just refer to them as Yarmo, Kono and Papa. What a nightmare those names would be...
