Apparently their owner came up and told everyone to forget about Sakho leaving.

Llori is a long way off being prem quality at the moment, he's another one with 'potential', and 6m is too much !

I thought Sahko was very good today. He`s definitely improving in terms of his timing, and adapting to the Premiership. I`ll go so far as to say he looks solid, and if he continues to improve like he has, he is going to be a monster of a CB.

I don't know why he was taken off, I`m hoping it was because of a knock, because I don't think he deserved to be subbed, regardless of the score, he just seems to be getting better and better. Of course the real test will be against the bigger clubs around us.......

Thing is, it looks like Agger is coming back to full fitness, and I don't think he should be just given his place back. I think Sahko is a better defender, and he can play the ball too. Granted, maybe not as silky as Agger, but he can stroke it about. The important thing is, I think hes a better defender than Agger, and for me Agger should wait for a chance to regain his place back in the side. I think BR could have a selection/formation headache here.......

Also what happened at the set piece for Palaces goal?

He probably got subbed because him and Agger are both left footed so it was the easiest slot for him to move into.

What happened at the set piece where we conceded?

I`m not Agger bashing, but he comes on as a sub and we concede at a set piece.........

To be fair that set piece had absolutely nothing to do with Agger.

Sterling conceded the foul, Alberto is the one man wall, Gerrard attempts to head it and Enrique attempted to head it, Agger was nowhere involved.

When he plays we need to play 3-5-2. It will always be easier to play Agger but then 4-2-3-1 doesn't work for us without Coutinho. So.

Sakho is a monster and he's the future. Look at the tackles he's made in the box and his composure on the ball. As much as I like Agger, I don't want him to play ahead of Sakho.

I wonder if Sakho is one of the reasons for the back 3 - in his debut against Swansea he showed plenty promise but did look a bit rash and off the pace at times, was a back 3 and us sitting back a bit in recent games intended to protect him while he settles?

It'll be interesting to see what happens when Glen and Cissokho come back into the team.

3-5-2 for me. Wingbacks and 3 CB`s. And at the mo, Toure and Sahko are definates, Skirtel seems to be on form, which leaves our vice captain on the bench.

    Ho ho ho!

Yes I think Sakho is growing into his role very nicely. Would it be wrong to say, I think at the moment, he makes us more solid in this formation rather than Agger in there?

No, I don't think its unfair to say that. I think Sackhio has won the shirt don't you think? My view is that you should encourage competition for the shirt, it keeps everyone keen and motivated, so Agger should stay on the bench and fight. Which I don't think he`s going to win because Sackho is going to get stronger and better. He`s better in the air, and hes quicker me thinks. He can play a pass as well. So next time Agger gets a chance, he better come up with one of those left foot specials in the top corner that we havnt seen for ages!!

No pressure for the Dagger then!

I think Sakinho can be a powerful player for us. So glad we snapped him up and very surprised he came here. Great buy from Brendan.

On the subject for fighting for your place now in the team, judging by Hendo's performance in mifield, looks like Lucas might have to fight his place back.

In fairness the squad last year had little competition, the fighting tended to be long term rather than game to game but Hendo won Allen's shirt and Downing took Sterling's.

He is a player that makes me confuse. I can't judge that he is great or just another Momo yet. If he can keep Lukaku in his pocket when we meet Everton, I will agree that he is the king of the beast.
