Probably the most complete documentary I've seen on Hillsborough.

It aired in the states on the 15th but can't be shown in the UK until the inquests are over.

Wherever you are in the world, I strongly reccommend you go watch it.

I won't link any sources for obvious reasons, but here is a Q&A with the director, aimed at US viewers.

Was a very good account of the Truth and showed on a number of occasions how the previous inquests and tribunals failed to uphold justice and demand accountability.

Two years since this was first aired in the US, but couldn't be shown here due to the coroner's directive it will finally be shown on BBC2 on Sunday evening.

I've taken the chance to restore this thread (I'd soft deleted it for obvious reasons) to make all aware of it.
It's difficult viewing in places but an excellent documentary.

Excellent documentary and surely shocking to those who did not know the extent of Police actions in their attempts to pervert the course of Justice. Great credit and eternal gratitude to all involved in its making. J.96.

to be honest it told me nothing I didnt already know. seen other programs that told you a lot more. I don't think they went into the ticketless fan lies enough. they did say they counted everyone who went in,but they didn't go into enough detail on how they did it. forest fans and others still say loads went in without tickets.
also didn't have enough people there to say their statements had been altered.
many other police and ambulance men have said things in the past to prove the cover up

The sheer callousness of people like Paul Middup when it came to Hillsborough makes me wonder how sensitive these people would be when dealing with rape cases, child abuse etc....

    .........

    Awful human being.

I think that the callousness of Middup is apauling. Wonder no more as to how it was humanly possible to operate Hotler's extermination camps.

    Amazing.
A survivor who was a child at the time recognised himself in the documentary being carried on the shoulders of another supporter.
He had never seen the clip before and has shared it on Facebook.
He says this guy saved his life.

Its a stunning, shivers down the spine moment, to think that this is the first time he's seen those images and can now see the person who saved him. Some incredible stories coming out even now.

Spoke to my mum last week and she says that she really wished she could have been back home in the city when the verdicts came through just to feel the cathartic relief and the energy that was in the air. A prouder scouser you couldn't hope to meet and one who felt the pain of the stories printed in 'that' publication as strongly as any even though she'd long since left her birthplace for a nomadic life as a servicemans wife.
