Everything Everything's new album 'A Fever Dream' is incredible. (especially Good Shot Good Soldier).

And so is Queens of the stone age's 'Villains'. (especially Fortress).

Waited so long for both, and I'm more than pleased.

Not for the first time I suspect, but I'm enjoying 'White Winter Hymnal' by Fleet Foxes.

Been listening to a bit of Iron Maiden recently. Wicker man, hallowed be thy name, dance of death, wild wind blows... Epic.

It's a genuinely classic album isn't it welshypool, with wonderful tracks such as 'Not For You' and 'Immortality'. It's always good to find someone else who appreciates it mate.

Just heard a few on YouTube, he's not that bad a singer TBH, not great but not bad. Kinda growly C&W if I had to try and categorise it.

So different to the music most posters appear to be interested in but I am listening to "A love so beautiful" by Roy Orbison, with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Wonderful to hear these early tracks, and some of his later ones, with a full orchestral backing. Album was slated by the music press critics, but then, what do they know?
