apparently Poland have a representative who is 6ft 9 with very long arms which makes him only 10 inch away from the board, He will hit a 9 darter

I'll be watching, Love my darts ...

Paul Nicholson, Raymond Van Barneveld and Mighty Van Gerwen are my favourites always want them to win tournaments.

Adrian Lewis, Phil Taylor and Justin Pipe I always enjoy watching them lose.

Kevin Painter and Ritchie Burnett crack me up also when they are playing, Such angry guys when losing its hilarious to watch.

The once great Crafty Cockney seems to get little say on Sky Sports.

He used to be full of vim and vinegar ! These days he seems half dead or have Sky warned him to tone it down? I miss the non-pc days of standing with a pint in one hand and a fa_g in the other.

Bring back the 70s-80s when we had real characters.

Still some characters around though even if they don't smoke and booze it up on stage ...

    Paul Nicholson
    MVG
    Ritchie Burnett
    Kevin Painter
    Ted Hankey

    To name but a few.

How he even keeps the throw straight freaks me out

The way he goes mental when things are going wrong too, Chatting away to himself I remember seeing him hit himself on the head several times in one match swearing ...

MVG, Taylor or Lewis. "The Big Three".

Wade wont win it, his draw is tough. Potentially Thornton next, then Taylor, then Lewis or Anderson, then MVG. All bigger scorers than him, and he'll have done unbelievably well to win it, I just cant see it.

MVG should make the final, a much easier half of the draw for him. Likely final is MVG v Taylor, but id like to see MVG v Anderson, or Lewis.

True, its unlikely but Wade is coming back to his 2007-2010 form and 18-1 odds seem way off the mark.

Still expecting MVG to win it, he's been the main man in '14. Rarely misses doubles while retaining 100+ averages most games.

Watched it the last two nights, Love my darts just find it so entertaining

Favourite players are MVG, Anderson and Barney.

Although Barney drives me mad, It seems like he gives up so early when it isn't going right for him, He's brilliant but not mentally strong enough, He did well to come back last night when it almost looked like he had given up!

MVG and Anderson are great to watch when on form.

Not a fan of Taylor or Lewis, Always come across arrogant and selfish to me, Something about them I don't like.

It truly was a fantastic match, both of them were brilliant. Haven't watched darts in ages but randomly decided to check it out when the Wade-Thornton match was on and boy am I glad I watched it! May dust off my darts board after watching that
