I thought he was awful as a cm and ok as a left back compared to Moreno that season but then made me wish Moreno was back in the team 2nd half of the season because he didn't offer much

I prefer a naturally left footed player like Moreno or Robertson there so that they can spray those crosses without cutting into their right. This was one of the problems that Milly faced. But he did a decent job as a left back when Moreno was off form. His salary does not justify given his playing opportunities now. We may see him being sold since we have quite a few options in MF.

I like him playing right mid with Arnold. Seems to be chemistry between them.

Milner has experience and can play many positions he's a very good squad player who is a honest pro.

If we had brought him on at 3-0 up against Sevilla we would have won that 7-0 as well

He was excellent all round. That cross to Mane with his left foot was sumptuous. Finish wasn't bad either.

I don't know about 7-0 but I seriously doubt it would have ended 3-3

I thought he was excellent last night.

Carries a real threat down the left flank.

he has a brain and uses it. far better option than moreno. not sure why klopp persists with him. for his offensive play? milner 3 assists in one half without being caught out of position at all really

Yeah, I think he is way more affective than Moreno. Even when Milner is having an off day he is still defensively solid. He reads danger at lot better.

I thought he was excellent when he came on as a sub. The move for the 4th goal with Coutinho was exquisite. If Barcelona pulled it off they would still be salivating over it.

There was one point were he dived in needlessly ,if that was Moreno you would be screaming, notice how forward he was too hope you're as critical of him as Moreno if he plays there.

As far as his brain goes, the less said the better. Klopp replaced him because he was the most dribbled past fullback, who would predictably cut back in with his right foot and cross to no one in particular if it meant he got rid of the ball
