Wow lucky we did not lose Hendo to the dreaded injury list. Really bad tackle by Barkley.

Sturridge - ankle - OK according to Klopp in the post-Sunderland presser
Milner - calf - taken off at HT vs Sunderland but should be back for the ManU game.
Matip - Should be ready for ManU
    Coutinho - ManU ?
    Henderson - ManU ?

Didnt know about this one. So no show for saints then. Seems like we're going into that game quite weakened (no Cou, no Matip, no Hendo, No Milner)..its a SF.

I find it a bit odd that he never gets mentioned in press conferences when klopp is asked to give an update on injured players.

Mane reported as walking out of Anfield yesterday, no crutches or visible braces. Hmm maybe it's not as bad as was initially feared. Let's hope so.

Anyone considering this game (Bournemouth at home) without acknowledging our chronic injuries is missing something..a lot!

We are now in a very upward battle to get into the top 4 and even with our points tally and fixture list we have got to be seen as only having at best an evens chance. Why? Because we have lost our 3 best players this season to injury and they are all out for a considerable time. Theres a chance we wont see Mane again this season. Id be surprised if we see Henderson and who knows with Lallana. Just need an injury to Matip now and thats our 4 best by a considerable margin all out of action.

I am now far less optimistic than i was at 5:50pm on Sunday.

The only thing going for us are the fixtures between the top teams..all of the rest of the top 6 play each other. That is now our only salvation. That together with the miracle of the rest of our squad stepping up big time.

“Emre has kind of a full body bruise. Everywhere,” said the boss.

Should be available for Bournemouth tonight though.

A full body bruise? What does that even mean?

Injuries just keep getting more. Now Matip Lucas and Klavan could miss Palace. You have to ask, wtf is going on in training?

We are top of the injury list again by a large margin. 9 at the moment, scum closest but still well behind us, 6 plays 9.
Been a real bad season surely we can't maintain this sick run into n ext season. I believe Klopp has said in recent interview or at least intimated that without the injuries we have had we would be very much up there challenging for the title, I think that may have been the case.
Need Matip and Lucas back sooner than later, both for late fitness test Sunday morning, fingers crossed.

Question is, why are we getting so many injuries.

Is it the training, is it just bad luck.

Small(ish) squad, every key player still playing lots of games even without Europe, law of averages catches up after a while.
We need the squad boosted by probably a couple of defenders, a midfielder and a winger/forward to offset this.

Probably can't afford to get the fully-fledged articles in every position, but it's going to be £100 million to get reinforcements in.

We probably can afford it (should be at least 40 mill for Sakho, Moreno and Markovic), but the squad needs an increase
in numbers as well as quality.

    Out 1st choice 11 is a match for anyone else's, but we need a 1st choice 18 that matches anyone else's - otherwise we'll
be spread too thin, again, next season

My view has to be bad luck, just analysing the different injuries and they do not look to be linked in any sort of way. Just really bad luck. However the solution is a bigger quality squad as injuries can disrupt our challenges.
