Anyone hoping or thinking Rodgers will get sacked on the back of a loss to the CL champs is smoking Colorado grass.
I need to see how we are when Sturridge returns and because last season we didn't really click into gear until December. I'm keeping my own council until then.
I'm not saying sack him. I'm just pointing out that he's the only person that can be blamed.
Sack Rodgers, give me a break....
He is the best thing to happen to this club in a long while. But I agree he needs help with his defence. Is it time to bring someone like Thommo or Carra to assist him. Say what you like about Thommo and his disipline but Houlliers defence was organised and that is down to him.
We could do worse. Oh and also get us a good GK coach ffs
I don't agree with 100% of what BR has done but I feel relaxed when he's with us. It's like having a star player on the pitch. Even when we are poor he's able to own up to failures without losing the dressing room or going overboard.
Guys, quite please. We are not Liverpool of 70ties or 80ties. Can we buy Kroos or new Suarez? We are somewhere between Porto and Tottenham. Last year was crazy but now for us is to win with Hull City. Times are chaning against us.
Yes we have had a poor start to the league, but we are hardly in the relegation zone or already out of Europe are we? Although the way some are on here I wonder if they almost want to be.
I'm beginning to realise BR isn't the messiah I thought he was.
He is not a manager who can win us trophies
I think he got the job about 5 years too early.
FFS!!!! A thread like this.
Well I think that it is revealing itself quite obviously. i would have done things differently. I would have played our world class players in the positions they play best and then the others around them but hey.. thats just me.. I would have played from our strengths not from the diagram I discovered. I would also have more discipline in defense and in attack i would press higher and get more bodies forward at least 4 because those defenders at Real Madrid are simply very good and No matter how much magic Mario has he never had a chance against these lads alone. No wonder his head was hanging. it was hopless.. We do not need so many new players.. I would say three and they would need to be over 27 years old and not older than 30 this is to add the depth of mentality. To carry the team up when its low.. And then.. We need a Lobotomy and a brain implant for Rodgers or just simply a new manager. A manager that knows how to utilize his players. If we can afford to waste 120 mil on something he doesnt know how to use we can sure pay someone who can...
I'd take Rafa back tbh
Rodgers has cosntantly said that his best work is done out on the training field and compared to last season that has been limited so his inustruction and methods are hampered, now add new players some experienced quite a few not and you are always going to have problems, he isn't a manager that is still learning himself, it's a team that's still developing and needing to be better.
I'm sure it will come.
Do people realise how young Rodgers actually is and how inexperienced he is compared to nearly every manager he is facing at the moment?
It's poor signings that are costing him this season. I've said it before, we should have flat refused to sell Suarez.
Mignolet, Johnson, Balotelli are not good enough neither is achteburg who is somehow still at this club.
Defensively we are comolet shambles
Gerrard is finished as a genuine starter but would be a good sub
Rodgers tactically is woeful and has been ever since he's been here and was bailed out last term by are amazing strike force.
I'm not saying sack him but I have more doubts about him now that I ever did and this season is rightly make or break for him
