Bellew wouldn’t even have to train.

All he’d have to do is get in the ring, and shout at David Price’s chin and he’d be knocked out.

Price needs to become like the Bond villain Jaws, if he has any hopes of being taken seriously in boxing.

It just shows you doesn’t it, Price was the next great thing at one point then all of a sudden without warning his career was in tatters,
He’s a good lad but he has no credibility in the heavyweight scene

He’s not even a bad fighter, which is the worst part. He just doesn’t have the chin, his confidence in taking a punch has completely gone.

Which is a massive shame, because as you say, he’s a good guy and he can box too.

Weird really, I didn’t see anything early on in his career to suggest he couldn’t take a punch; his stance is pretty upright like an amateur but you’re right he can box unfortunately as quickly as Joshua rose Pricey sank

Apparently Mayweather is considering another fight

He probably feels he is in shape after the McGregor fight, but if I was him I'd be careful who I get into the ring with, but then again Mayweather has also been a master at picking the best fights at the right time. In my opinion, he's just looking to break the PPV record again, which I think he fell 200,000 short of against McGregor.

A true legend of the sport hangs up his gloves at the weekend, Miguel Cotto. I can't tell you what weights or how many world titles he has held but he has been fighting at the top level and been in some intriguing fights over the last 10 or so years. I think he deserves a proper send off, his opponent Sadam Ali shouldn't give him too much trouble.

He would probably make us wait another year before announcing it to be against Manny again. When both have been retired, would be a Mayweather-esque move.

And Cotto bows out with a unanimous points defeat. He was 1/12 to win that fight

Surprised with those odds, everyone knew this was his last fight and it being against a very good upcoming fighter in Sadam Ali

But I reckon with this injury their raving on about, he would have won but fair play to Ali, should set him up for some bigger fights.

Lomachenko v Rigondeaux this weekend Who have you all got? I'm going for Loma on points but not one bit surprised if it went the other way.

James DeGale back at the weekend in what should be a routine defence.

Chudinov is also fighting an unbeaten Canadian in Ryan Ford. Could be one to keep an eye on for an upset.

Lee Selby defends his belt and to top it off, Stephen Smith fights Francisco Vargas, they are both super featherweights I think. I remember Vargas losing a world title in his last fight and we know Smith's record at this level, 2 or 3 defeats so a big fight for both.

Was Loma that much on top or was it an injury?

Well, Loma-Rigo was a let down. Not Loma, as for me he's the p4p best and showed it again but the size difference was massive and Rigo looked like he didn't even want to make a fight of it. I know he said he hurt his hand early, but he just looked he wanted to survive a few rounds without taking any big damage then get out there with his cheque in hand. Very disappointing.

DeGale losing was certainly a surprise but he looked awful. Maybe he should stop talking so much **** about others (the Eubanks) and concentrate on the task as hand. He was soundly beaten.

Not a vintage performance from Selby but did more than enough. He'll destroy Warrington.

Another Smith brother showing that whilst he's good, he's just really not good enough. As with them all though, heart of a lion. Callum is the one big hope.

Another nice smooth win for Conlan, hopefully they start ramping up his competition after a couple more fights, he's too good for these guys but suppose he's still learning the pro game.

From the off he was just holding, duckin low. Just pathetic behaviour. Then said he hurt his hand.

Did anyone see Smiths ear yet

Yeah, his ear was literally hanging off. Gruesome.

Rigo was very disappointing. Size difference was massive, but he didn't even look interested at all.

The scene is set for Eubank to take over the division in my opinion; I think he’s on the way up as the likes of Groves and Degale are on the way down

Poor from DeGale, that was a fight he should have won but all credit to Truax, he's going to make some serious money in his next fight with that world title, win or lose.

Smith's injury was horrible, I don't think he has it in him to become a world champion. He was losing the fight none the less but still credit to him he stayed in the fight. He's not at world level for me though.

I've been following Lomachenko's short career in detail, I think he has to be considered among the top fighters in the sport now. He never ducks a challenge and all round he is exceptional. Rigo never stood a chance.

apparently he will get found guilty - if he gets acquitted he could sue them for a lot money as loss of earnings unfairly? Or maybe he will sue them anyway, this could go on for a few years in the courts
