Bellew vs Haye I’m still not convinced will actually happen, but if his body holds up I expect Haye to win it if it does
Yeah, I just think Eubank is on the way up and Groves will slide here,

Bellew beats Haye if it happens imo

Groves has had a good run the last couple of years, he has achieved his goal of becoming world champion but I agree Eubank should win this fight. I don't there isn't a super-middleweight out there that would beat him right now.

Calling each other out recently, I don't see any major obstacles in the way as Loma will dodge nobody and Linares isn't the type to duck either.

I'm on the fence for Canelo / GGG.

As for Haye and Bellew, like you said if it goes ahead, you'd think Haye would beat him but Haye is well past his best. Don't be surprised to see another Bellew victory but I'm thinking Haye on points.

I dunno mate, the guy hes fighting i've never heard of he looks like one of the Osmonds; when even was Khans last fight and a spider in the jungle doesn't count ?

Khan's a bit of an enigma to me, on the one hand I really admire him coming back after some shocking knockouts and he is a brilliant boxer then on the other his desperation to call out Manny and Floyd was nothing short of cringey; anyhow him and Brook need to win a title otherwise their long awaited clash which we've been alking about since 2012 will be nothing more than a domestic dust up for two "once were's"

So, Price will fight Povetkin on the AJ-Parker undercard. Wow. This is going to end badly for Price, and it's obviously a case of Hearn feeding Price to Povetkin to build him for a future fight with AJ.

If he could win though it maybe a career saver?

Depends is PEDvetkin is still on the juice. Pricey looks in good shape recently ... if the occasion gets to him then he's finished. Im rooting for him though, cant help but like him.

I think it would be a mini-miracle if he wins.

He's looked in great shape before, but never delivers.

Size difference was very noticeable, wasn't it? Okolie absolutely bullied him. After all the hype and build up, it was a massively disappointing fight.

Very, yeah it was; not that I follow either boxer but the way it was hyped I was expecting a toe to toe; Okolie is very very awkward

So Roy Jones Jr. calls time on an incredible career with a unanimous points win. Ends with 66-9 (47 KOs) but immediatley in true Roy Jones Jr. stlye says he would come out of retirement for one bout .. a fight against 42-year-old MMA fighter Anderson Silva

A true great however a tinge of sadness at those terrible k/oís in particular Enzo.

However he was amazingly skilful, the body shot to Nunn (was it?) the hands behind back k/o and the lad who went into some sort of spasm after a peach are my memories of a true gent and legend of the sport I love.

    What did I miss ?

One of, or possibly THE best I've seen in his prime. Destroying people and making it look so easy. I think moving up and down weights, as big an achievement as it was, took it's toll on him. He of course went on far too long and lost fights he should never have lost, but in his prime, he was frightening.

When he absolutely dominated James Toney from start to finish, I think that was when he really announced himself. Toney was no joke, and was probably even the favourite for that fight, but I think Jones won every round and knocked him down during a dominant win. He's had more flashy KOs and such but that was one of his best wins, for me. Of course there are the other highlights like winning the HW title and such.

That and his rap single. Y'all must have forgot

Vasyl Lomachenko v Jorge Linares terms reportedly been agreed according to Bob Arum, just trying to work out all the little details, including a date. Terrific fight, honestly couldn't pick a winner, even with Lomachenko moving up in weight, again.

Also seen on Sky Sports Jamie McDonnell is in talks to travel to Japan to defend his bantamweight world title against Naoya Inoue. Can't see McDonnell winning that one.

Groves v Eubank Jr. this weekend
