He should win that fight though.

Be interesting to see Fury's comeback though.

Jeff Horn defended his welterweight belt tonight in the 11th round against Gary Corcoran.

Katie Taylor also defended her title on points.

Just watching the match ups last night at York Hall.

    Cordina Kelly Okolie all impressing.

But what about that Benn fight, especially first round....best round i've seen this year...Peynaud looked really really good in that fight, Benn less so.

He's the best of the rest in that division behind Canelo and GGG. Might even have a small chance of beating either fighter, would be an interesting fight.

Lawrence Okolie and Isaac Chamberlain to fight at O2 Arena on February 3. This one is very tight to call but if I was picking a winner I'd go for Okolie .. I think he has potential to be a top fighter.

UFC President Dana White said the MMA promotion is talking to Mayweather about a deal:

"We're talking to Floyd about doing a UFC deal. It's real. He was talking about [boxing] Conor McGregor. Was that real? Have you heard Floyd talk about many things that aren't real? He usually tips his hand when he's in the media and then that s--t ends up happening.

"We're interested in doing something with Floyd. Everything is a realistic possibility. Mayweather vs. McGregor f--king happened. Anything is possible."

Its diminished though, Brook is now defeated and now longer a champion and Khan is a former champion last seen shrieking at snakes, I fear it's now nothing more than a domestic grudge match

I disagree, I think the fight would be an intriguing one. Certainly has an eliminator sound about it for any world title and a huge British battle would sell tickets in no time. Depending on how Khan's comeback develops, it sounds like lots of 'funny money' for everyone involved.

I would certainly watch the fight, loser is virtually on the brink of retirement if not put into retirement. Plenty at stake.

I agree it's intriguing but what I meant was it's lost it's elite status title fight now that neither have a belt, they've been talking about this fight since 2012 it's longer than the 'fight of the century' so it;s now merely a domestic dust up albeit and intriguing one.

I would watch if it was free but not if it was PPV.

See Whyte v Browne is confirmed, looking forward to that one !

    I'd second that.

I think that is a good choice from Whyte. A win over Browne will nearly guarantee his next fight is for a world title, even if it the lesser WBA strap. I think Browne is a good fighter but he's 38 now and he was down on all scorecards in the biggest win of his career against Chagaev, he was knocked down too if I remember right.

I'd tip Whyte to win this one comfortably.

You know Whytes a character, I disliked him when he fought AJ - too much trash talk but I didnít half respect him as a fighter after that.

Now when he shoots off his big fat gob itís kinda cool, Iíve warmed to him and this is gonna be proper warts and all grudge match I expect fireworks on and off the pitch.

But if you were to pick a winner in this fight?

Whyte just 2/5 in ladbrokes this morning

    Is he ?

I havenít seen enough of Browne I fact I donít even know his record, add in to that Whyte has been underwhelming in his last couple I think it sounds like a real 50-50

    Whatís your thoughts mate

I think Dylan Whyte, who I know a lot better then Browne, is improving with every fight but has yet to get big name victory to get him a title shot. But he isn't far away.

Browne's record is 25-0 but he's 38 and hasn't really had any stand out wins even though he once held the WBA crown for a little while. He's a good fighter but I wouldn't rate him as highly as some do and can only see a Whyte win, possibly on points.

I would watch it if it was on sky but itíll be PPV and it really doesnít warrant it.

Just feel itís another fight that is going to happen far too late.

Happens far too often in boxing but happy we did get some big fights in 2017, hope to see plenty more this year now.

I think there will be some belters this year, the Heavies are heading toward unification which should be a good watch during 2018, add in Fury, Whyte v Browne also then Haye v Bellew some good fights already confirmed aswell as Wilder v Ortiz for March.

Thereíll be plenty of good fights this year mate, Iím not so sure about Kahn v Brook theyíve been going on about it nearly 6 years now !

That's if Ortiz can avoid failing another drug test.
