Thread: Slow forum

    First of all mods, I know you guys are not the ones to blame for it, just hoping you can pass on information to the right people and sort this out.

    Servers were terrible during the match yesterday, no excuse for that, dont want to hear about unexpected surge etc. They shiuld plan for it.

    Its been passed on many, many times in the past.

    But, it is telling that the slow down only really happens after we concede........

    You also forgot when we loose, but that aside, they must have enough statistics by now to scale the servers performance on match days, but i suppose its down to who ever they subcontracted this site to though a world famous team should have the resource to ensure a performing website. Especially for those that are paying a subscription.

    The game finished 10 minutes ago (and we didn't loose) and the forums are still hanging. I would like to lodge a direct complaint, so how do we do that, because i'm fed up with paying my subscription for a sub standard forum?

    I don't know who at the club is responsive for the running of these forums, but they're an absolute joke.

    This is not a free service. I pay LFC each month to use the interactive content plus forums on this site, and each time a game is on, with what I assume is moderate to high traffic on the site, the whole thing comes crashing down.

    I'd like some information on what is going to be done to fix this problem - I've been using this site since 2008 and there's been absolutely no improvement whatsoever in that time. I'm sure I'm not the only person that posts here that expects to get a decent, reliable service for the money they pay each month.

    I repeat - this is not a free service that you are providing. It's absolutely ridiculous at this stage, and I'll be cancelling my subscription very soon unless something is done to improve this.

    I feel your pain and annoyance but Im not sure you'll get a reply from within the club in this forum. Your best bet is to use the Contact Us button at the foot of each page and send a message to the appropriate department.

    Speaking tongue in cheek, it is noticeable that the forum only grinds to a halt when we fall behind, so you may get more joy contacting Klopp and asking him to get the team to play better.

    Hey, thanks for your reply. I've used the Contact Us button before for technical problems and not had much of a response, so I'm not sure if I'll bother with that, but thanks.

    I use many other message boards that are free and have no issues with them, so I cannot understand or accept why this one is so slow. Either you invest in more hamsters and tell them to run faster, or you actually spend some money and move to a different platform. Considering the amount of money that's surely being generated from the interactive subscriptions, I don't think its too much to ask to have a message board forum that doesn't crash at a moment's notice!

    Whilst our company recently got told kids don't bother reading mail, companies tend to treat written complaints seriously and I'm not so convinced e-mails and online contact is taken remotely as serious - you may have noticed some company websites send you round and round in circles trying to find an e-mail method of contacting them, they simply don't like it regardless whether ignoring it is poor customer service.

    So in essence I'd suggest you write to them, maybe it's seen as a more sincere/serious complaint (method) because you took the time to write and it cost you a little whereas any idiot can moan chronically in an e-mail, on a forum, in a box for online complaints etc. Which brings us neatly back to KTT's point about when and why the site grinds to a halt.............

    Yes, but that's irrelevant. That's when most people try to post, either before or after a game. The fact that the boards are fairly well inaccessible during these periods is the problem I wanted to highlight. It's ridiculous.
