    It's almost here.

Big news today is that Teddy Bridgewater, third-year Vikings quarterback, suffered what seems to be a major knee injury. No contact, collapsed in the pocket during a drill. Vikings cancelled the practice and called an ambulance, Bridgewater was sedated before getting an MRI. Sounds like it's a serious one.

Trevor Siemian is starting, Lynch to learn the game on the sideline, and Sanchez to be cut.

Bridgewater dislocated his knee so hard that he tore his ACL, brutal. Gut punch before the season begins for the Vikings.

I'm a Packers fan, so I'm looking forward to a rejuvenated offense with Jordy Nelson back and Eddie Lacy weighing less. We drafted some really talented young secondary players last season, but our line and LB corps remain up in the air.

I do not know a single thing about him, other than that his name is Trevor Siemian and he is now the starter for the Broncos.

The Broncos will seriously miss Peyton Manning running the offence, though their defence is solid enough that it should be enough to see them through to the play-offs relatively comfortably. I'm interested to see what the Colts do with their defence, a couple of solid tackles and top-quality linebacker could transform that side and make them genuine contenders this season. Looking forward to seeing how Cam Newton reacts after his relative choke job at the Super Bowl.

Colts will be better simply because they have Luck back, and the defense won't be on the field the whole game.

Broncos are in a tough place QB-wise, but then again, Manning was awful enough to get benched during the business end of the season. They just need a guy who doesn't turn the ball over and they'll be ok.

Are you looking at the right Sunday? Not trying to be a jerk, but the games start next Thursday the 8th (not this upcoming Sunday).

I am going to this Boston v Georgia Tech game in Dublin tomorrow, I have not got a notion what this game is about . The tix were kind of a gift from American family who are coming over. Is it a good game to go watch live?

Wounds are still raw for me as a Panthers fan. Sure they can make the playoffs again but should really have got it done last season.

Not the best teams, but it should be fun. BC has a NFL prospect at quarterback, but GT is pretty bad. College games are fun because there's more chanting and things that Europeans would like.

Starting in an 0-4 hole won't help the Pats.

Still one of the top 2 teams in the NFC, they're fine.

Not playing in the 4th pre-season game is probably the death knell for Sanchez's career in Denver. He had all the chance in the world to be the starter, and lost out to a 7th-round nobody. He's lucky that teams will always need QBs in the league, or he'd be out of a job.
