So Liverpool are 3 points clear already, although they've played more games than most.

With Leicester and Chelsea to come in the next two matches, Liverpool could open up quite a gap on the others.

The Manchester derby is also being played next weekend.

No, it wouldn't be a 'Big 7' then.

Some might say even more important than the actual league.

Although, of course, they would be completely and utterly wrong.

I doubt Premier League champions Leicester will be that bothered being in Darren's big 7 league table or not. They preferred winning the Premier League Table in 15/16.

I think you're underestimating the prestige associated with inclusion in 'Darren's Big 7'.

Must be prestigious as Liverpool seemed to be more concerned with Darren's table than the premier league table.

It's a pity that our results against our mid table rivals and the bottom teams don't stack up as well as our results against the better teams. Hopefully we find a solution this season.

Can we stop increasing the number to keep ourselves relevant. It's embarrassing. There is no 'big 7' and even if there were, we have no divine right to be in it having finished 8th twice over the last 5 seasons.

Absolutely. Leicester had their only 3 losses last season in the mini-league, still smashed everyone else.

You obviously get embarrassed very easily.

Clearly we are one of the big 7 clubs in the PL. Stop being such a drama queen.

Just need a draw in the Manc derby, then we can beat Leicester to go 6 points clear at the top.

I want to know (Harry Hill style). what's the best?

    Darren's "Big 7" or Larry's "Top 5"?

Only one way to find out...

But is it better then 5.

You need to do a table to see which numbers are better then others.

I'm guessing you're not aware of 'Larry's top 5' then?

It's become a bit of a cult joke.
