I think it was a mixture of the two. That's why I found the first 30 mins the best because I wasn't expecting it to be funny and so it took me by surprise. Once it went back to the storyline there weren't any surprises and the acting didn't take my mind off what I knew was coming.
Aye I thought it lost its way in terms of the characters, they weren't particularly strong considering the actors in there and while it was a decent watch, it was one of those I could have nodded off to on a sleep Sunday afternoon.

Branagh was good though, liked him and played his role convincingly

Yea they were oddly underwhelming considering their calibre. Maybe it was because they were all having to put on and maintain accents and that took a lot of their concentration and effected their performances or maybe its how they were directed-because they were all trying to portray themselves in the film, as something they weren't. Not sure I buy that theory though. I did think the scenery was great.

His sidekicks was good too-played the hedonistic personality well.

It was odd, just nothing going on really with the characters, you couldn't empathise or live the experience with them.

Its tricky to pull off with limited screen time, but then if you go back to a golden oldie like 12 Angry Men, that is the epitome of pulling such a feat off

So Justice League reviews are out. Mostly mixed to negative, quite as expected, although it is said to be better than BvS.

It is trying too hard to be Avengers basically.

    Terminator Genysis 5/10

They should have stopped at Judgement Day. This one is pointless tbh. The story line is weak. Acting-well not much to be expected from this film. The actor who plays Sarah Connor isn't even remotely convincing-not like the original. Bit of a mess of a film really.

    "Justice League".........4/10

The backlash over Batman vs Superman sorta worked. This is a quick 2-hour action packed, generic super hero film. And a bit of a kids film. Batman vs Superman, for all its faults, was a more enjoyable fare IMO.

Not as good as 'Carry on - Follow That Camel.'

You’ll only really know welshy if you see it yourself.

I enjoyed it, not a bad flick at all.

    8/10.

Kenny last night 10/10. Strongly advice all to buy this when it comes out on DVD. I must warn you when Kenny is talking about Hillsborough it is upsetting and Kenny is very upset. The other part I found annoying was when Ricky Tomlinson read out the letter Howe sent to Thatcher saying let the city run in to ruin and chaos let the city suffer.

Just watched Justice League this afternoon.

Loved it! But you need to have watched Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman beforehand to really enjoy it.

I have created a new thread which maybe the moderators will approve because I want to talk about the actual film with others and discuss spoilers etc.

All in all, definitely worth a watch.

The Justice League characters are awesome and all play off each other in the movie. They did a good job in trying to fit that bunch of characters in a 2 hour film whilst provide non stop action and fight scenes throughout. You will tend to favour one more character than the other although you may just love them all like me!

If you go Odeon tonight, get your free wristbands! I got lucky and got given two! Wonder Woman and Flash!

    Wonder Woman, 6.5/10.

Apart from the Batman vs Superman type action overload at the end, I thought it was pretty good.

It was witty and the story and majority of action were really good. Gal Gadot and Chris Pine had boss chemistry which made the movie for me.

Wonder Woman has major potential too, hopefully they keep it as far away from Zack Snyder and his influence as possible.
