Quite enjoyed it too. Entertaining and pacey revenge flick.

Also watched El Camino Christmas over the weekend. Again quite good pacing, quite funny in a slapstick kind of way and entertaining on the whole. Its tough with these films (in a confined environment) to be great film unless you have a great acting cast (which this isn't) but its good enough for a popcorn flick. Another issue was that it was obvious how it would play out and it probably waited too long to reveal certain plot lines. Regardless a decent watch. Its not a masterpiece by any stretch but if you like non-standard Christmas films then this will eagerly eat 90 minutes for you. 7/10.

Give him a sword, throw on a kilt and you wouldn't know the difference.

Mind you I still enjoyed them. Easy movies to sit back too.

    Donnie Darko 9/10

I absolutely love this film (it's not the first time I've seen it though).

Bold, original and starkly shot, this explores themes of fate, death, time and time travel, suicide, family and the difference between perceived reality and the real world itself. Truly outstanding film making.

We're at the point when Alien is now a poor imitation of movies like Life, which are already a poor imitation of Alien.

Great soundtrack, too. Was always one of my favourite films when I was younger. Haven't seen it in years, though.

You're spot-on WilbertoSilva, the soundtrack is also outstanding and, like the film itself, thoroughly memorable.

I'd suggest you look it up once again, you won't be disappointed.

    Darkest Hour 7/10

Gary Oldham does a great job portraying Winston Churchill. Provides an interesting look at the great man

I watched this, id give it a slightly lower 6/10, I absolutely hate winston churchill, but Gary Oldman was outstanding in the role, I watched it until the end solely because of his performance, not what I was expecting at all.

Yea, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Oldman really must have worked his backside off to change the way he would normally speak and yet make it seem very natural and second nature to him. It was an interesting portrayal of the man and his character wasn't what I was expecting.

I'm sure Oldman will win an award for his role.

Out of interest, why do you hate Churchill so vehemently?

    ?
Just not a fan of his blatant racism, he was as far right as it gets, he was responsible for, and supported many atrocities such the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent Africans, we had plenty of our own detention camps and forced-labour camps too.

Funnily enough we never hear much about that, and that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - 8/10

Loved it. Knew as soon as i seen the cast a while back that it would be up my street.

Sam Rockwell was excellent as usual. I'd watch pretty much anything with him in it.
