After watching the degradation of world diplomacy that is current the US and NK relationship I decided to re-watch The Brink. What a cracking show that is, even more relevant now then it was then. Right now is a perfect time to resurrect it HBO with NK as the focal point instead of the middle east....or even both.

We watched the third episode last night;'The Commuter' with Timothy Spall.
The only one I've seen but according to critics the best so far.

Been watching Big Mouth on Netflix

Funny, really enjoying it, imaginative and takes you through those long forgotten trials of puberty and the agonising new found awareness of the opposite sex, and how lousy you can feel as kid, along with the mad **** you do as a kid when you panic

I tried it but couldn't get into it. I think it may be because I've seen both comedians who voice the main characters a few times, and I've always found them distinctly unfunny. I also think the humour is a bit too on the nose, there's nothing really clever about it.

A friend recommended to me ans I watched one episode and didn't really have an urge to try any more.

Star Trek Discovery is getting quite interesting, although I hope the questions raised won't just be put on the back burner ala Lost.

    Looking forward to Mindhunter.

David Fincher is part of the team behind it. Also looks as if it is very Zodiac/Seven like, which will work for me.

Yeah, Fincher is definitely a big draw and it has that cold, gritty feel to it. I *********** loved Zodiac, and it does have the same tone to it (from the trailer, at least).

It progresses quite nicely and the characters get going, its not complex humour or nowt though

It's sort of like an animated In Betweeners featuring 12 year olds really

Hey, its as close to light 'fun' I'll ever get....as my wife keeps telling me.

I love everything Fincher does, apart from that one movie that shouldnít be named. I too loved Zodiac, hugely underrated film.

Letís hope Mindhunter fulfills itís potential.

    Does anybody like Jim Jefferies?

Watched a couple of his Jim Jefferies show last night. Not sure what to make of it. Iíve only ever seen him once before, his name rung a bell so put it on, seems very watered down from the stand up film I watched, and all a bit hit and miss. He looks almost embarrassed by the jokes at times.

In fact, Iím not sure if I even liked his stand up, just remember it being a bit Ďno holding backí in style.

I like his stand up but have avoided his show, looks a bit cringeworthy and out of his depth.

Was Alien 3 really as bad as people say? I loved it as a kid when it first came out (I was obsessed with the whole Alien franchise back then), I don't think I've watched it since. I've heard the director's cut is a lot closer to Fincher's actual vision. But yeh, I love everything else he's done.

I loved it as a kid too. Iíve seen it since (Had an Alien marathon) and itís pretty dire throughout.

I did read that Fincher disowned the film though, mentioned the studio basically butchering his film in the editing room.

Rick and Morty- 9/10. Just fantastic.

Homeland- So far Iím only into the second series so no spoilers but Iíd give it an 8.5 maybe 9/10.

    Designated survivor- 8/10

Star Trek discovery- been looking forward to this, watched the first two episodes and some of the acting is garbage, will give it a chance though, 5/10 so far.

Watched 3 episodes of Suburra last night.

First episode was a little ropey and felt a little too polished, with some bad overacting too, but the second and third episodes have been very good and really starting to settle down into a good show. It does feel like a bit of a Gomorrah rip off, even down to some of the overhead shots of the city and driving scenes, but I love Gomorrah so another show of that ilk would be welcome.

Definitely worth checking out for any fans of Gomorrah.

I know its not TV but it is loosely connected....

Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is coming back to Radio..... Unfortunately its the "rehashing of all the good ideas from Adams but offering no closure" version by Eoin Colfer. I'm such a massive fan of the original that I might be able to just power through that but it'll be good to hear the old cast in action.

Watched 'Gerald's Game' on Netflix, harrowing, not fun, then got a bit silly.

Not an hour a half to relax to

Aye the book, it was hardly a pleasant read!

We put it on over the weekend for entertainment then I remembered the story and thought, what have I done.

Its not bad actually, loyal to the book from memory but not a relaxing experience

What's that DS...and is it harrowing more to the point?

I think the first two seasons of Homeland were excellent on the whole.. Then it drifted quite a bit.

I really want to watch the first episode of Mr Robot, season 3.

But then Iíll have to wait a whole week until the second episode, and I hate that.
