Absolute legend. The semi-final win vs Nick Kyrgios was the best tennis match I've seen this year. Kyrgios is starting to look like a future champion but if Federer stays fit he could actually get back the world No 1 ranking and of course there's the freaky prospect of him going for an 8th Wimbledon title.

It would be a big ask for Johanna to win the French. As clay is supposed to be the achilles heal for her all round game.

In terms of Serena. Johanna is 10 years younger than Serena so time may be on her side. Notwithstanding who is coming up through the junior ranks.

Can't say I have seen her play on clay so fair enough!

But oh my are we in some sort of twilight zone? Fed and Nadal in all the finals...

Nadal must be really looking forward to the French open, having now reached a few finals and lost out to Fed this is the one he will feel he is favourie to wn if he hits form.

Ha ha, the current situation in the Davis cup is a sign of things to come when Andy Murray isnt around, just dross left.
After he calls it a day, rest assured there will be more inquests in how come the LTA didnt capitalize on his success and use him as a catalyst to produce world class tennis players (not that they ever have).
They can import as many plastic Brits as they want but it doesnt disguise the fact that the LTA are useless.

Just have to flag up a seriously good new talent in Marketa Vondrousova who won the Swiss Biel women's final yesterday. At 17yr old this Czech teen showed the sort of natural tennis ability and game that has future Grand Slam player written all over it. She was just awesome throughout the tournament.

It was only her second WTA tournament and she beat ranked players on her way through and won eight matches in total and did not drop a set in the main draw, becoming the youngest winner of a WTA title in almost two years. Fantastic start to her career and definitely one to watch for the future.

With Serena out of the picture for the rest of the year, it's a golden opportunity for Konta.
