The other one's a bit cloudy, too.

Anyhoo.... Random Thought time... Ron mentions that there are signs that grujic might be on his way during summer.... which would be a shame, as we've hardly had a good look at him.
So..... what was the LFC match where he scored a cracking goal not long after arriving????

Yes, you're quite correct... silly ol' Diddler.

I was thinking more in terms of your imperative and authoritative stance on the matter.

Would be a shame - he looked good from what I've seen but not given any first team chances - not sure why?

Man U must really be spitting tacks over the number of draws they've taken this season... equal with Muddlesbrough on 12.

The next worst/best are LFC, Everton and Stoke.. all with 9 draws.

Let's hope they take another one in the derby.

he's been poorly with stuff... can't recall what...... and when available, he's hardly been used. Maybe Klopp didn't care for what he saw when the lad got some better chances to train.

But he did look the business when he joined and got some game time.

    Indeed.

Imagine Mourinho's face if it's pointed out to him that Man U has drawn more games than lowly Muddlesbrough..... all those precious points down the gurgler, around the u-bend, and away to the sewage plant.

Saturday's 4-0 win over Freiburg means that Ralph Hasenhüttl's side are guaranteed a place in the Bundesliga top four and have, in theory, qualified for European football's elite competition.

However, the BBC report that their eligibility for the Champions League remains uncertain and they could yet be thrown out of the competition as UEFA rules stipulate that only one team owned by the same organisation is allowed to play in European club tournaments.

Founded in 2009 by energy drink company Red Bull, Leipzig in theory are partnered with Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, who are also owned by the same company.

With Salzburg some 15 points clear the top of the Austrian League, it appears likely that they will also secure qualification for the Champions League next season as well.

The situation could well mean that one team will be banned from playing in the competition and UEFA are set to make a ruling on the matter in June, meaning that both sides are facing a long wait to discover their fate.

Current rules mean that whichever team is thrown out of the tournament would not even have the comfort of playing in the Europa League either, but speaking about the scenario back in February, Leipzig's CEO, Oliver Mintzlaff, is confident that his side will be playing Champions League football in September.

He said, as quoted by the ***: “We are not nervous at RB Leipzig and also the UEFA signals don’t exit. If we qualify there is no reason why we should doubt to play in Europe next season.”
Situation seems a bit messy in there now.

It's just UEFA all over. I posted on this months ago and suggested that the rules probably wouldn't be as clear cut as any sensible person would expect - now UEFA are saying they still need another couple of months to work it out.

Seems simple to me - 2 clubs under the same ownership should not be allowed to compete in the same competition. RB should have known this before they bought more than 1 club. It should not even be up for debate now.

Not messy - a conflict of interests because two clubs have the same owners, if they meet you want a fair fight and not the corporate two step

Well, of course the rule is there. Just felt that UEFA will sneak them in somehow after some brown envelopes.

Shocking news. I am sure his family must be devastated in this situation and how fast everything happened.
I must admit that I feel a bit paranoid lately with the amount of people of young or middle age passing away by cardiac arrest and other diseases. Call me "gold fish memory", but I don't recall this happening so often in the past. At least not in my homeland.

Anyway, my thoughts are with Ugo's family. RIP

UEFA seem to step in at at every other turn recently...now it appears MAMDOU SAKHO being banned and missing Europa League cup final as well as European Championship was a mistake. WADA messed up the players chances to play for club and country.
UEFA mistakenly believing that the substance Higenamine was on the prohibited list. Really WADA & UEFA with all the communication channels that technology has opened up to all and sundry and you two cannot communicate properly......pathetic to say the least.

Nasty bit of plotting... and a decent bit of sleuthing by the cops, who managed to trace the guy by the phone (or whatever it was) he used to do the shares dealing.
