Yes I'm more than happy with Josť. Yesterday's game wasn't a classic but United did attack. It was only when they started pumping the balls in the box the last twenty-five minutes that he brought Rojo on. It worked and we won. Sometimes you have to close out a game.

It's a myth that Josť's United are set up so defensively. I think we have the same attacking stats as you this season, shots on / off target.

It's not a myth. Jose is a defensive coach - you already had 3 centre backs on the pitch, in addition to Fallaini and Carrick - to add a 4th centre seemed an over kill.

There are other ways to try and finish a game, control possession - kill the momentum that way - but Jose doesn't do that - considering you spent more then £500m you still very much play like a small club - like I said he did this at Real Madrid and even though they won stuff, and scored plenty of goals - he got sacked - he has a small club mentality

I'm just going off what I see at United. Our finishing has been abysmal this season which Josť can't be blamed for. Josť's United are in the top ten teams in Europe for passing accuracy, shots per game and shots on target per game. I only bring up the stats because they confirm what I see when I watch us. Are they as good on the eye as some other teams, no. But he has only bought four players to the squad so far. As for money spent I never understand why it's brought up. It doesn't have anything to do with football on the pitch so it's a moot point to me.

Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea included. The majority of their 11 games are against sides in the top 10. They also have Burnley away. Burnleys away form may be dreadful, but correct me if I'm wrong, but Man City are the only team to beat them at Turf Moor in the league.

It's embarrassing to watch...Goofball and park the bus. You're better of latching onto Chelsea to get your fill of glory.

Ibra is world class, no doubt about it. The fact he is still performing at the top level at the age of 35 is testament to that.

Shame for Sevilla and football fans in general they didn't get to defend their trophy and instead did nothing special in the Champions League - worse because they hadn't just won it once, or even twice, but three times in a row. Four times in a row would have been something special, and in European football terms hasn't happened very often :

Consecutive (title) wins in European competitions

    5 Real Madrid - European Cup (1956-1960)
    3 Ajax - European Cup (1971-1973)
    3 Bayern Munich - European Cup (1974-1976)
    3 Sevilla - UEFA Cup (2014-2016)

Can't see any other runs of 3+ so fairly elite bunch of which Sevilla missed out on going clear second in because they went from being top dog in the ordinary competition to ordinary dog in the top competition...
If it's three successive European trophy wins, add Liverpool 1976-1978.

    horrible isn't it.

Some of the tottenham lads started doing it when they beat the Ev. So cringe-worthy.
