For the majority, it really doesn't matter if this lad is the next wonder kid, if he's assists are glorious and that he chips in with a number of goals also.
Heck, he may turn out to be fabulous and good luck to him.
Currently, we need proven quality, quality that only comes with £££££££
Pounds or bust it looks like. Not the healthiest scenario
He has improved immensely. I think a lot of Bundesliga followers would argue he's been the best left back in Germany this season.
A few weeks ago Kicker also rated him as the 2nd best full back (best left back) in the league this season, only behind Lahm which isn't too bad.
I would fancy us grasping Kolasinac from under the nose of Juventus, Chelsea and Arsenal, all the way,
but given the competition this bloke has fired up, I very much doubt our attempt could go through,
I don't know whether we'll play Champions League football next season, and our trophy cabinet start to be rife with aged silverware,
those could be the discriminating factors to entice a footballer at choosing to ply his trade for a club rather than another,
it looks to me clear that our club is any more so appetising for most of european top notch footballers,
if a free agent can choose his next destination among a crop of top Clubs, we likely fall among the last ones in his hierarchy of preferences, it's as simple as that,

Buying young prospects may be a way of making money if you buy on the cheap, nurture them for a few years and then sell them for a good price.
If one of them breaks through, plays for the first team and then is sold for a huge amount (unfortunately Sterling is the exception that confirms the general rule) then it's okay.
What I cannot stand is buying one or two decent to mediocre first team players every summer (when we clearly need 5 very good players to improve on what we already have) and 3 or 4 youngster, present them like huge talents but then they never make the grade and then we sell them on a loss (Illori, Suso, Teixeira).
So forgive me if I'm fed up with all these big rumours of us tracking a 16 year-old left back from Fulham when we should only concentrate on a 25 years old who'll be an immediate improvement on Milner and Moreno.
There should not be a blanket rule, if Klopp wants him and deems the price fair then that is good enough for me. In TAA i think we have a talented rb coming through, id love to have a talented young left back at the club.
Kolasinac could be sigjed for free next window so if we got both it would be brilliant business
Some tweets going about that we have signed him from Fulham.
Anyone know anything about him? Is he any good?
Classic Yahoo sources.
Terrible source but I'd love it
I'm guessing this is Yahoo's 'source': http://www.football.london/arsenal-f...senal-12752426
