BD seem to have carte blanche on the world's best kids. Them getting Demeble was beyond annoying.

For the majority, it really doesn't matter if this lad is the next wonder kid, if he's assists are glorious and that he chips in with a number of goals also.

Heck, he may turn out to be fabulous and good luck to him.

Currently, we need proven quality, quality that only comes with

Pounds or bust it looks like. Not the healthiest scenario

This is why i dont get our fans, Dortmund are able to do that because of Klopp but it didn't happen over night took time to build the foundations for it to work.

False. Kolasinac is available for 0.

If you've not watched him this season, then he will look a completely different player!

He has improved immensely. I think a lot of Bundesliga followers would argue he's been the best left back in Germany this season.

A few weeks ago Kicker also rated him as the 2nd best full back (best left back) in the league this season, only behind Lahm which isn't too bad.

We were. Reputable sources said Klopp personally spoke to Dembele but the deal with BD was already in place.

Extremely frustrating but hardly shocking that he chose Dortmund. For me, him and Gabriel Jesus are currently the best teenage attackers in the world.

So we should stop buying any more young players and abolish our academy?

I saw him a few times earlier in the season but i was mainly watching schalke to see meyers play, then he got injured and i havnt really caught their games since. If what you say is true we have to be all over that free signing. The one thing our team lacks is mongrel and passion and he has it in abundance being a very fiery character. That said he has always worried me with his temperament.

For me the those 2 and Pulisic are the best 3 teenagers in europe. Emre Mor is another very big talent also. I expect our dealings to look more and more like Dortmund's the longer Klopp is here and the foundations are built to do it.

The only thing is Chelsea and Juventus are apparently interested in him so it won't be too easy, hopefully Matip could give him a bit of advice

You would like to think a signing like that is Klopp in his element, plus it would be hilarious for Klopp to sign half of Dortmund's rivals backline on a free

If he came here and produced what Matip has he would be signing of the season.

I would fancy us grasping Kolasinac from under the nose of Juventus, Chelsea and Arsenal, all the way,

but given the competition this bloke has fired up, I very much doubt our attempt could go through,

I don't know whether we'll play Champions League football next season, and our trophy cabinet start to be rife with aged silverware,

those could be the discriminating factors to entice a footballer at choosing to ply his trade for a club rather than another,

it looks to me clear that our club is any more so appetising for most of european top notch footballers,

if a free agent can choose his next destination among a crop of top Clubs, we likely fall among the last ones in his hierarchy of preferences, it's as simple as that,

    Exactly.
Buying young prospects may be a way of making money if you buy on the cheap, nurture them for a few years and then sell them for a good price.
If one of them breaks through, plays for the first team and then is sold for a huge amount (unfortunately Sterling is the exception that confirms the general rule) then it's okay.

What I cannot stand is buying one or two decent to mediocre first team players every summer (when we clearly need 5 very good players to improve on what we already have) and 3 or 4 youngster, present them like huge talents but then they never make the grade and then we sell them on a loss (Illori, Suso, Teixeira).
So forgive me if I'm fed up with all these big rumours of us tracking a 16 year-old left back from Fulham when we should only concentrate on a 25 years old who'll be an immediate improvement on Milner and Moreno.

It's hardly a huge amount, most of it will be in performance-related add ons.

If he is brought by a rival and become class we will regret it.

There should not be a blanket rule, if Klopp wants him and deems the price fair then that is good enough for me. In TAA i think we have a talented rb coming through, id love to have a talented young left back at the club.

Kolasinac could be sigjed for free next window so if we got both it would be brilliant business

Please dont say that unless its true!! It would be like getting dressed up in my wedding suit only to arrive at the church and find that she's marrying someone else.
