Expectations at this club are at an all time low, apparently now the ideal player is someone from the lower leagues that none has ever heard about, otherwise another club would get him. Failing that we can always sign someone from Southampton.
    Bore off.

Moreno was very promising when he signed, but has regressed badly.

I only saw the highlights of Fulham's loss to Wolves, but Sessegnon was all over the place (positionally) for two of the oppositions goals.

Indeed. The hype is way overblown.

Looks like this kid is taking it to the next level now. Just 17 years old and has 7 goals and 4 assists in 26 Championship appearances. Two thirds of those games have come at left back, too! Sessegnon continues to earn rave reviews and it seems the the majority of 'big' clubs are interested now.

Where do you think he will end up? Would you take him here?

I would, but he won't be as cheap as Dele Alli or Joe Gomez.

He seems to be Spurs-bound. Wants to stay in London according to all the rumours in the summer.

He does look pretty special for 17, but I don't think Klopp is about to spend £30m+ on a left back when we have two youngsters that he seems pretty happy with.

He got 7 goals from left back?

    He plays LW too.

He looks a serious talent, it would take 30 million at least to get him. Fulham fans hopes is that they get promoted, he shows his ability in the PL and his price will go up

No, as LGLP says above, Sessegnon also plays as a left winger at times too. Regardless of where he is playing though, he's got some impressive numbers for a 17 year old.

He looks a player...certainly from the odd game and highlights I've seen...and I was very surprised given the money spent on full/wing backs last summer, that he didn't move.

Perhaps he has some flaws to his game or personality that is putting clubs off from spending the big bucks on him.

I think it was more a case of Sessegnon wanting to stay at Fulham so he could play regular football at a competitive level. He's started 26 league games this season, which for a 17 year old is pretty rare. He's probably benefited more playing week in week out for Fulham in the Championship, than he would have playing for the U23s of a 'big' Premier League club.

I'm sure he'll move to a Premier League side by the end of the summer window. Southampton are rumoured to be interested and that could potentially be an attractive option for Sessegnon. But then, again it'll be difficult to turn down the likes of Spurs, United and perhaps even ourselves.

I don't see Klopp paying big money for a fullback.

Yeah, same. Although I'm not entirely convinced by either of our LBs. Both can be improved upon in my opinion.

I think Sessegnon will probably end up at Spurs.

I would have loved us to buy him and loan him out for 1-2 years. I have watched Fulham a few times and whilst he is an amazing talent going forward, he currently can't defend for toffee.

    Absolutely

I'd love us to get him - he will be at a top 6 premier league club in the next 18 months either way

He does need to improve defensively - but for a 17 year old that's expected. His positioning and following players in at the back post are weaknesses

He has all the natural tools and skills to be a fantastic player though

Similar to Gomez’s recent lapses. They’ll learn.

Fantastic prospect. Whoever bags him will have one of the best English players in years to come if he continues to develop as he is.

I remember making this thread, very happy for him and his progress although can imagine his price would have increased a hell of a lot more by now!

GB wasn't bought by Klopp. When has KLOPP spent big money on a fullback?

Ryan Sessegnon scored two more goals today. That's 9 so far this season in the Championship and he is now Fulham's top scorer, at just 17 years of age.

When he's played as a winger/left forward this season, Sessegnon has scored 7 goals and claimed 2 assists in 8 Championship games.

He's not going to be a left back, is he? Looks very good in attack.

    Definitely a player.

We need to snap him up now. I don't want another Dele Alli moment.
