Most of us knew it was going to be tough start o the season after the fixtures were declared, most knew we needed to strengthen in the January window, that never happened, shame we were in a fine possition when it oppend considering the tough opening fixtures, madness again from the club

    Spurs
    Liverpool
    City

My Utd friends (puke) were really having a go today, until I pointed out that even with a January from hell behind us, Manure couldn't overtake anyone in the top 5. We will get stronger again as the season progresses. I see Arsenal crumbling also.

Course we can still do it ... but form has to utterly transform NOW.

Need to win about 2-3 on the bounce, get our mojo back and get the players motivated to keep winning points.

We've got some huge gaps between games coming up, and a depressing lack of fixtures to look forward to ... If we don't become a team that is 100% fresh and ready for each game then something is VERY wrong ...

We SHOULD finish top 4 somewhere ... and if we don't it's failure on a grand scale.

I'd be happy to pick up 20 points from those games tbh, finish on 66 points and hope to finish 4th.

    6W 2D 4L

Last season city and utd both finished on 66 points with city edging utd out on GD to finish 4th.

We won't get top 4. Momentum is not with us and there is not enough Leaders, Strong Personalities/Mentalities or Men in our squad to handle the pressure to get us over the line.

Hell I want it, I want us back in the Champions League but I have no faith in this group of Players to get it done when the pressure is on.

I'm optimistic we can get in the top 4. With being able to only concentrate on the league and the fewer games we'll be playing compared to our competitors we should be able to do it.

you are joking aren't you ?
As long as he improves on last years eighth position, they will keep him on.
This is a long term project they have embarked on, he has a seven year contract, the onus is on them to help him out.

Sad times, im not going to draw the obvious conclusion though, I said I would leave them alone until the end of the season, we might improve between now and then.
