Ok 2017 has been completely crap so far. The title is gone. But there's still something to play for.

So, can we kick start our season after the horrible run we've been on, and if we can, will it get us CL football for next season?

    Here's what's left.

    11 Feb - 17:30 Liverpool v Tottenham 2-0 win

    27 Feb - 20:00 Leicester City v Liverpool 3-1 loss

    4 Mar - 17:30 Liverpool v Arsenal 3-1 win

    12 Mar - 16:00 Liverpool v Burnley FC 2-1 win

    19 Mar - 16:30 Man. City v Liverpool 1-1 draw

    1 Apr - 15:00 Liverpool v Everton 3-1 win

    5 Apr - 20:00 Liverpool v Bournemouth 2-2 draw

    8 Apr - 15:00 Stoke City v Liverpool 1-2 win

    16 Apr - 16:00 West Brom v Liverpool 0-1 win

    22 Apr - 15:00 Liverpool v Crystal Palace 1-2 loss

    29 Apr - 15:00 Watford v Liverpool

    7 May - 13:30 Liverpool v Southampton

    14 May - WestHam v Liverpool

    21 May - Liverpool v Middlesborough

    Thoughts lads?

Lets just say, I ain't too confident at the moment about top 4 finish. I believe we can still do it, but Spurs and Arsenal, are they must win games to do so? If so, fantastic, we could. If both games end up a draw, we could be playing catch up.

i think we can make it........... and finish 3rd......

i think spurs will kicks start a decent run .... and we ll regain confidence and form but then after 2-3 months we ll start having injuries again before the season ends and fall away once more......

from aaugust to dec is how long our first can go hard without breaking down... we ve just seen it...

its like the club took january winter break even though there wasnt one... now back to business..

if that happens that is representing zero progress..........

top four has to be the goal and he has to be failing at very least by 1-2 points from getting it...

at very least he has to be cusping cl qualification... falling away to 6th or 7th is not acceptable really...

Completely depends on how quickly we can turn round our form against the lower end teams.

If we can improve our form this month, then we will get top 4, just down to the fact we have far fewer games in between allowing us to concentrate on the league far better than our rivals.

But obviously it's a big if regarding us turning around our form this month...

Back on for race top 3 finish.

Are best 9 players available, only playing one game week, no more inferior players coming into the first team or players who don't fit the formation.

Like i said beginning of the season I still stand by it we are favorites from my book to finish top 3

What worries me is that Klopp simply doesn't have a plan of how break down the small teams

One thing that can help us is if United and Spurs make a deep run in the EL and City in the CL

One game a week, get the intensity back in our performances...maybe we can go back to early season form. I think we still have a good shot.

I don't want that to happen, next summer he has to correct a lot of positions in this team and make big decisions that are going to upset a few people.

    My Heart says yes.

My head says back the horse with momentum. That isn't us at this stage.

First of all he has to sell Lovren and Mignolet and take the armband off Henderson.

If we are to get anywhere with this team we need a strong back 4 and GK and midfielder that bosses the midfield, a general in there.

Or alternatively we've had our bad spell now and are still in the mix due to our excellent early season form. Arsenal are probably the ones we are most likely to overtake and they aren't in the best of form themselves, only a point in it, let's stay positive.

The Burnley game will be postponed if they beat Lincoln City at home in the FA cup.

I think we may even beat them on Saturday but it wont alter my thoughts that Spurs will still be top 3 come the end along with Chelsea and City.

So in answer to the OP that leaves Arsenal to overcome to get top 4 and sadly there is nothing there that shows me we can do it and truth be told I am not totally confident we can even stay ahead of United, so no top 4 this season, would dearly love to be wrong.

I have the feeling we'll do it the players know Klopp will do a rebuild come the Summer and will get their acts together. With only 1 game per week from now until the end they'll be playing out of their skins

Could. Hull should have been the turning point. Chelsea was a good chance. Seems like we are running out of games.

I believe we can finish in the top 4, but looking at that run, we need to sort our **** out fast if we are to do just that.

If we get our good form back there will be an almighty fight between us and the 2 Manchester clubs for 4th place.

With each game we play like we are at the moment, top 4 gets further away.
If we sort it out very soon then we could well go on a good run again, pick up a lot of points and finish in the top 4.
It's hard to predict what will happen as we're so inconsistent.
I still believe we will though.

Based on current form we have no chance of making top four, on previous form before this run, we have every chance of making top four.

I think we'll hang in there as others slip up too rather than anything good from ourselves. But our momentum is shot and we've seen it enough from this group that they struggle with pressure and expectation.

Expect the best, be prepared for the worst. The usual.

I knew the Hull game was still a bit too soon, 4 days after the Chelsea game. Spurs and beyond is where I'm hoping to see change
