You seem to be under the illusion that if you think something its a fact
You say Matip is overrated this is an opinion not a fact

    Are you from north London?

The stats actually say otherwise (granted I personally feel a lot of stats are garbage but it is what it is). The only real advantage Rose has over Milner is a natural left foot, OTOH he is much weaker if forced to use his right than Milner's left. It's very much a toss-up, IMO.

Kane scores more (helps that he takes pens for them) but does less defensive work and creating chances. As others have said, he probably wouldn't start for Klopp but in other systems he'd likely get the nod.

Matip vs Toby, I can see giving them the edge although I think it's pretty close, different judgement on how big the gap is I suppose, fair enough.

I'd still go with they win defense, we win offense, we shade mid-field in the overall picture though...

No he isn't. The only cross he put in at Anfield knocked a blokes glasses off at the back of the stand.

Firmino will be starting next season don't worry about that. And I can't remember thinking Kane was out performing Firmino at the weekend. He only popped his head out of Lucas' pocket twice.

Now do the best team in a 4-3-3 formation.

    Strange isn't it.

Spurs' best player (arguably) doesn't get in the 4-3-3 version.

I'd have Lallana ahead of Wanyama in a 4-3-3 as well.

There is even a case for Firmino ahead of Kane

Alli on the left over Coutinho? Come on now...

It was silly, I did change it.

Just trying to fit him in some way but in a 4-3-3 he just doesn't fit.

I am not sure, Wanyama is the defensive part of the 3 and Kane scores 25 league goals.

Wanyama over Lallana is pretty questionable, too.

While I highly rate Kane and put him in my combined 11, I did mention that Firmino might actually be a better fit for us. If we had him I still think Klopp would prefer Firmino simply due to his phenomenal work rate and pressing. Kind of like how Aguero has been benched by Guardiola despite being their best goalscorer.

    Lloris, Alderweireld, Rose and Alli.

Lallana was voted the best England player so he better than Alli?

I can see Alderweireld but only because he's played longer in the league. Not Alli though, not for me.

i d rather have firmino in our 11 than kane

wijnauldum would start in midfield before henderson

lallana surely deserves a mention..... he s had a better season than alli so far

so the midfield could arguably become

    wijnauldum dembele
    mane lallana coutinho
    -----firmino

lallana s statistics and all round performances have been better than alli

they lack pace so badly in attacking areas.......

    This was my point.

In a 4-2-3-1 Kane would be my 1 but in a 4-3-3 there is a case for Firmino to be the central player of the 3.

I think I might start a thread why do people think they know more than the manager? I mean you can make your point and have an opinion but why do you have to make the point into a thread title. if you haven't realized we aren't playing with an outright number 10 or an outright 9 since the start of the season, then why are we even beginning to try to make revealing assessments and advice.

in posting you think there is a better setup (or think we should long term change the setup) you are doing so.

I think fans can discuss tactics all they want, but even if spur's players are better than ours, don't you think klopp would know that? I just think some of it is pointless, some of it misguided and misguiding (as most of us obviously don't have enough understanding of the game), and potentially big headed.

Who cares - the expectation is to challenge, work hard for yourself and the team......
Some weeks you come up against better teams
Some weeks you get inferior teams

The idea is the same every week, you try to put them away

Our problem is we are not consistent and we don't put them out of their misery, hence the questions
