I want to be entertained. Defeating the opposition is not enough, I want to see them humiliated.

Yup....i think when you are trying to rebuild something it's important that you allow the model to regain some strength and if by taking a defensive approach is
the way to go then so be it....it's all about putting yourself back on the map.
I think finding the right balance is important too.You might have a manager who likes parking the bus but then there would be games where they compensate it
by scoring big against weaker sides and Chelsea have done that under Mourinho.
And under Ancelotti they went into triple digits with goals scored and conceded just around 32,United conceding the least with 28 and finishing 2nd.
I think had they stuck with Ancelotti, they would have been entertaining as well as defensively strong.
So that solves this air of being called a 'defensive unit'.
I guess, probably the reason they are called a defensive side is due to the quality they have....they underplay themselves to get the results but it has worked for
them over the last decade and as you can see in the table, they have outscored us most of the time.
Final thoughts - How we play is something that can be changed overtime,we should concentrate on being 'sustainable',we swing by a huge margin especially after
having a good season and such variability needs to be addressed first and then we can find ways to score more goals.
