Firmino is a cf but Klopp ********** him.over by playing him wide during the season. You don't push your number one 9 wide and **** his rythm.

Klopp has ballsed up alot of decisions since December.

So moving players out of position isn't a valid excuse for everyone, except Firmino.

Poor first touch a great deal of the time, inaccurate passer, does not do well in contact or when pressed on the ball. Average finisher given space. Great work rate. Great pressing the ball.

Most of us never see him in practice to see what the gaffer sees, but he's been more frustrating that not. Klopp seems to place effort and willingness to press over the entire pitch over everything else. Hence Firmino plays the entire match whilst Studge watches.

Lucas, Milner, Henderson (according to some), Coutinho (according to some), Lallana, Wijnaldum, Origi (lots of times).

He is average and vastly overrated.

Can't finish and is costing us games.

Why play him when you have the likes of Sturridge and Origi?

This experiment was always going to last so long, which is while the surprise factor would last. Time to stop faffing around and buy a proper striker.

Yes I want Origi or sturridge to get the same amount of leeway firmino does up front I.e. more than a few games up front with the reserves in the efl and fa cup

Play firmino behind the striker to ghost into spaces like he did in his previous club!

Btw Origi did more hold up play in 15 mind when he came on than firmino all game.

Origi was also awful at holding the ball up ala Bournemouth

    Oof!
Sturridge has been played in a system that doesn't suit him, struggled and was criticized.
When Firmino was played 'out of position' and struggled he was given a pass.
All in the name of 'what's best for the system'. How's that 'system' doing so far?
This was fair enough when we were getting results but we have been rubbish for 2 solid months now.
I was okay with Firmino being the first choice forward going forwards but now I want us to purchase a first choice center forward. Klopp no longer trusts Sturridge and Origi and Firmino is no where near clinical enough.

the most annoying thing is when it clicks, it really clicks and can be devastating, but when it comes to physical teams (those willing to fight) maybe not so much.

Firmino is a poor finisher and his touch is awful every second game, but he's still miles better in both departments than Origi.

+ a pest in the mold of suarez, tevez, costa, someone that doesn't shrink when it gets tough.

Too lightweight for a CF. Put him behind a big, quick and dynamic CF and he'd be devastating

One of the best players in the league, klopp needs to get more out if him and find a way to get him an Phil to link up better. He's inconsistent no doubt but he's arguably the fittest player in the squad and the best technically.

he's a very good player and has done very well for us but he's not a natural CF so eventually he would end up suffering this dip, he could be a great support striker in my opinion

It's absolute nonsense that we don't have an actual striker. I think it's also absolute nonsense that Origi isn't a regular for us.

Yeah, I'd like to see Firmino in behind Origi, with Coutinho to the left and Mane to the right.

Henderson alongside one of Can or Wijnaldum.
