Indeed! I have many Pommy friends who give it to me every second day! At least I have my revenge when England appears at a major football tournament. Australia has never been beaten by Iceland at anything!

Missed the boat on that one, should have got rid last summer, he has been stealing 100K per week for the last year.

Easy money if you can get it. China might be an option too.

Hahahaha Iceland, great country and great people always do England over, I can still remember them running rings around our mighty RN frigates in the Cod Wars.

I used to remember seeing theads saying Sturridge injured and getting that sinking feeling in my stomach. Now I'm just not even surprised. Just sell him, its pointless him being here.

I can imagine Klopp's rehab regime to be very intense along with his other coaching strategies. Someone as brittle as Sturridge will always fall short under such a coach.

The video sums it up, he could have been king of the world like Homer said, but sadly it is injury after injury like Homer in the Simpsons video, link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc8ngiMlCto
Mourinho's the special one, Klopp's the normal one, I am the weird one!

Can't help but wonder how much of this is part injury, part gamesmanship for being shown little regard from the gaffer for his specific talents on the pitch, and the demands of a system that absolutely doesn't suit him. Especially this year from the start it borders on the absurd. Guess we'll find out next year when he's off...

JK seemed a bit sheepish when discussing Sturridge at the end of the press conference

Even if he's selling they and he would want to be fit so that buyers are interested.

What odds on him being fit everytime his new club has to face LFC!!

His new club being three nil down to us, and he scores a consolation goal in the 80th minute. Then he gets injured whilst quickly picking the ball out of the net for a quick restart.

We will sell him, he will never have an injury again and become top goal scorer in the league.

He's played about 30 games already this season.

And averaged about 40 games a season for the last nine years.

To let him sleep, or not to let him sleep. If he sleeps, he will probably suffer dislocated eye socket when his eyes close. If he doesn't sleep, he will probably suffer dislocated jaw when he yawns.

Can't tell if you are blaming Klopp for this.

We must sell him in the summer.

I'm fairly sure a lower Premier League team would be willing to part with 30m for Daniel Sturridge as he is still a goalscorer. I'm sure the likes of WHU and Crystal Palace will take a punt on him.

No one thought we would get 30m for Christian Benteke and we did.

Daniel Sturridge will be a minimum 25m but I would not be surprised if we got 30m+ for him.
