Can't wait for this - a game where we'll get to actually play football! They're coming into form but we're ruthless in these sort of matches.

Hopefully Firmino will be back. He could make a massive difference in this game.

Yeah we were pretty good that day. I was at that game. Suarez scored a peach of a free kick.

Not doubting our performances against the big teams and I think we'll get a draw but it doesn't negate the fact that those two are the most threatening wingers we've faced this season and they are on form.

I think there are different skill sets there but my point is that they are threatening and that our fullbacks have not been in form lately.

aye, tbh most games against city turn out to be very good games regardless of the scoreline; a proper toss up of who's better on the day - not much to choose between either.

Apparently we can't be optimistic against the small teams because we tend to lose against them.

And apparently we can't be optimistic against the big teams because our good run against them has to come to an end soon.

So, to summarise, we must always be pessimistic.

Ironically there can be a case made that our dreadful run over the past 2 months means that we'll bounce back from that.

Nope, apparently it only works one way.

If we're bad, we will continue to be bad. If we're good, it will soon end.

    Sorry to disappoint mate.

I understand having a few reservations about our form, players etc but our fans take it to a whole new level at times.

As subs: Karius, TAA, Moreno, Lucas, Grujic, Origi, Woodburn,

confident that we can get a grip from yesterday disappointing team display,

appealing to the fact that we face one of the top notch teams in the league,

and we know how we usually change the approach to those kind of games,

beside when we take on one of the so called minnows,

so, as I said before, I am confident we could pull off one of those stunning performances

we were recognized for by all the football pundits throughout the current season,

    really looking forward to that,

..... and let's not forget, we could very likely rescue Bobby Firmino to availability,

and we know how our attacking trio with him, Coutinho and Manč have often turned out devastating

    for our oppositions this season,

    so fingers crossed,

    C'MON YOU REDMEN!

nope mate, I'm pretty optimistic either,

I'm sure our positive streak against the so called top six sides won't have an end this season,

hopefully it'll come likely belated next season,

even though yeah, every positive streak has to come to an end, it's the natural course of the things,

even the invincible team of Messieur Wenger came to an end with their long streak of positive results,

if I'm not wrong, twelve years ago, and .... against LFC!!!

If our front three are on it we'll score goals, so it's up to our full-backs to nullify their main threat and win us the game. Really looking forward to it.

Win, lose or draw I'll always support the club. You'll always be my peers and have my respect. Win together, lose together, die together.
They'll have to dig one hell of a grave to bury us all.

If we pick 3 points up away at City, that's a bonus, I'm looking for us not to get beat and build on that, so if we can win the game great, if we draw the game, that is a OK result at one of the other top six team's around us.
Mourinho's the special one, Klopp's the normal one, I am the weird one!

I'd accept a draw me too, but if we can go for the big figure, why not?

Eh! You have to be joking. Sure thats not the wrong way around. Our record against the top teams is awesome. Our recent record against City is even better.

did you leave the bed on the wrong side?

Considering these lads love big match, sure we'll be fine.

Probably won't win however we won't be hammered 4-1.

Stinking the place out atm. Although he has a brilliant record against them, so fingers crossed he turns up with week.

Don't think we're playing well enough to go there and tear them apart like we have in the past, but they still aren't that great defensively so still expect us to score.

    I'll go for 2-2

You dodged my question... who would you prefer? They technically play the same positions at the moment.

I don't have fear from the quality of their full backs either... I get your point but both Clyne and Milner are normally reliable defensively.
