I agree somewhat. Although we did not 'need' to win - we really should be taking every opportunity that comes our way to get the 3 points when the game swings in our favour, especially with our capacity to lose away to anyone no matter how winnable the game looks on paper.

If we don't maximise our opportunities then someone else will do it and go on a run. People keep talking about how tough Utds run in is , theoretical results mean nothing - they may well win both their games in hand and put in a strong end to the season and an extra two points today would have been big for us.

As much as I dislike him, I will admit he was very good after a shaky start.

As it stands, it could be a bigger gap when they actually play those matches. And who says they will even win both, one of them is City away so not exactly easy.

This idea that we have to win every game is odd, it is those below us that have that pressure because they are behind and chasing. We see that with Arsenal slipping up and us getting a point in a tough away game, we have strengthened our position on them even with a point.

Do you realise that United still have to play Chelsea at home? More importantly, they also have to play Man City, Spurs and Arsenal AWAY. If you reckon they will be taking 12 points from those 4 games, then there is something very wrong with you.

So, I'm as useless as those fans who said we were going to win by 3 goals then?!

Started off slow, and under the cosh, but I was disappointed in the end that we didn't beat them, despite their missed chances too. Have to put the ball in the net when the opportunity arises. Still trying to get my head around that Lallana miss.

I'm sure City fans are still trying to get their heads around the sitters they missed too...it was one of those games.

It sure was one of those games. Score should have been something like 4-4. Very important that we didn't lose going into a break.

    Is this personal bilsland!!!?

2 edited posts in an hour where I have used the word 'fools' and the other where I have questioned the logic of a fan (using the word useless) saying we'd be hammered 4-1 without any reasoning behind this statement and a total disregard to our unbeaten form against any of the top 6 in this season.

I've seen words banded about on these forums that are certainly a hell of a lot more offensive than 'Fool' or 'useless' over the years - must have been a quiet evening for you.

Unacceptable insult? do me a favour!

Saying we would be hammered 4-1 without any reasoning or logic behind the statement.

Its a useless statement, currently Klopp has an amazing record against the top 6 and tops that 'Mini League' by some distance.

15 Games against the 'Top 6' and only lost once last year to Man U - and even that was dubious!

Yet you say we're going to get stuffed 4-1 and have to rely on others.

Have you researched the games all the other Top 6 have to play and the fact that they all have to play each other whereas we don't have anymore of them to face?

That's why I used the term useless.

Not picking a fight here KG, just my thoughts on a ridiculous statement, and before you ask no, I didn't see anyone claiming we'd score 3 as that would have been equally ridiculous.

He has had a lot of injury problems that will have taken its inevitable psychological toll when it comes to physical assertiveness and mixing-it in tackles and close spaces.

He's got a huge frame and I've no doubt he'll become a top, dominant CM presence when he plays there regularly and is fully fit. He's still young enough to develop, going forward and prompting he can be immense.
