Sounds like I missed something groundbreaking here, but I also doubt it. I'm afraid to ask why you love him so dearly.

I love Milly me too, he's a team player, he's a hardworker, he's the fittest, he put the body on the line if needed,

    he's versatile as nobody else,

but I love him most when he's deployed in a central midfield role,

not in the position he's actually occupying since the inception of the current season,

    anyway,

    long live MILLY!

Critics? The man has no brain ,technique or touch. He hits his teammates with the ball when he passes, everytime the ball gets wide you know he is going to cross it regardless .I still can't believe he was bought to be our Cm and people were ok with it

This ! Hasn't always been the easiest role for him but he's just got on with it and been a workhorse for the cause.
That said, I do hope we aren't expecting him to be our starting LB come next season.

Thinking about it Milner doesn't stack up so bad when you look at the top teams.

Chelsea Alonso or Milner - Milner
Spurs Rose or Milner - Rose
City Clichy or Milner - Clichy
Arsenal Monreal or Milner - Milner
Scum Shaw or Milner - Milner
Everton Baines or Milner - Baines

There isn't a great deal in it for any of them. There simply aren't that many top left backs at the moment. Certainly top defensive left backs are very rare.

Mental! I'd have everyone of those players ahead of milner at left back.
    Milner over Chelsea's Alonso! Lol

    Yeah, complete rubbish.

Oh wait, yes, I remember - all those penalties he's taken under pressure, anyone couldn't stepped up for those. And that he's never put in consistently dogged, team performances.

I'll put it down to either you're under 8 or you're having us on.

Theirs opinions then there's this nonsense.

I don't think any of those teams would take 200 k a week Milner to play as a LB. Milner over Alonso? Don't be ridiculous
