Worst rating yet. Just emotive rubbish. At least you scored Can and Gini well

Get a grip it's one player, posted a minute after the game, of course it's emotive, I'm not a journalist

    Origi - 5
    Lucas - n/a

Great defensive display which is nice for a change. Migs has been so solid lately. Both full backs hardly put a foot wrong.

Midfielders were all brilliant. Fair play to Can after all the debate last week - he was everywhere and kept the ball well.

Attackers were below their best but decent. Some great movement and skills, poor final balls and decision making.

Gini MOTM for me however. Fantastic control and kept the ball brilliantly.

Yeah, but he was one of the beSt players on the pitch. So your post makes you look like an idiot.

Gini, Can and Matip were the best three. Been that way for the last 3 games along with Mane. Looking like 4 of our most important players at the moment

No he wasn't. Overall he was good, but he was nowhere near as good as Can and Wijnaldum. Maybe it does but missing an open net makes one look like a bigger idiot than posting some ratings on a football forum.

He was great in that second half. He was running our attack. Not the front 3.

The sitter leaves a bad taste but he was very good.

    The midfield trio were excellent.

He still wasn't as good as Can or Gini IMO, but yes he did overall have a good game especially in the 2nd half.

If people can't tell that my ZERO is intentionally knee jerk and quite evidently based on the single miss then what can you do

In all honesty he was one of our best players today. In fact I'd say not one single red out there had a bad game... apart from Origi who sucked when he replaced Coutinho.

Yes Klavan did have a couple of wobbles but this was against City.

Overall, miss of the season aside, I think we did quite well.

Completely agree, the miss is just going to haunt me especially with a *********** international break up next.

He wasn't at fault for a goal, which is good by his current standards.

knee jerk reactions aren't intentional. That's the whole point of the phrase.

Both midfields were crap, couldn't keep any control of the game when it was needed. Neither Can or Wijnaldum have damn clue of how to play that role but yes, if you ignore the basics then Can had a few good passes here and there. Wijnaldum ran the channels nicely a few times and Lallana....let's forget about him tonight

    Mignolet - 6.5 -

    Clyne - 7.5 -
    Matip - 8 -
    Klavan - 7 -
    Milner - 6 -

    Can - 7.5 -
    Wjinaldum - 9 - MOTM
    Lallana - 7.5 -

    Mané - 7.5 -
    Coutinho - 7.5 -
    Firmino - 7.5 -

    Origi - 6 -
    Lucas - n.v.

    J.Klopp - 7 -

globally a very good team display, we were sometimes on the back foot because of the quality of Man City and the system our opposition resorted to, which was very offensive but at the same time was to concede many spaces to tuck into their backline, we created lots of chances on the break but we lacked that cutting edge to finish the job,
we frankly can say that we turned up this afternoon, but our opposition revealed an outstanding threat for our backline,
    so credit to the citizens,
we had plenty of individuals to stand out today, one overall has been Gini Wjinaldum which is my personal MOTM and dealt with ball as nobody else of our team on the pitch, very well done to Gini! he made tick our midfield and released some amazing passes at the top end of the field,
well done to Adam Lallana and Emre Can also, a pity for the goal miss Adam Lallana made himself protagonist in the final stage of the game,
    that missed nick cried scandal!

Wjinaldum was fantastic, he bit the ankles of our opponents for the entire game, dominated possession, never misplaced a pass, and released some outstanding balls at the top end of the field, how could you criticize Gini?

He bit the ankles of our oponents? Okay, if he did that then I am going to have take back my comments.
