Yawn. No one agrees with you...again. But keep tilting at those windmills.

My opinion Beige, hard worker, but from a marauding fullback you also require consistent, accurate crossing.

I feel he struggles in this department.

That's just not the case, sorry.
With the fans of this club it's always black or white. There is no middle ground, no grey area.

He's a good defender in poor form, I don't really get how saying that can trigger someone. The last 4 goals we've conceded, he's been at fault for 2 (Burnley and Arsenal).

Trent will more than likely be a very good midfield player.
For now he's cover at fullback to get a bit of experience. If Clyne needs a rest or taking out of the firing line for a while we have a good option.
Lets not forget how steady Clyne's been for us over the last seasons.

Not sure why you think that comment was aimed at you. I may disagree with you oppinion but you're not one of those guys who run around screeming that he's tosh and needs to be replaced.

You can big TAA up without slagging Clyne. The kid just looks a class act.You can just tell with some kids and I think he is one.

Well lets see. Klopp usually likes offensive fullbacks who can put in a defensive shift in as well. I think he potentially can be successful in both, midfield and defense.

    He'll get there.

Not sure he should be starting just yet. However, certainly not far away.

I wouldn't mind him getting some more minutes on the wing if Mane's injury is bad.

With Origi poised to start maybe for the rest of the season it's a very big possibility that he will get a substantial amount of minutes.

Sadio Mane walked out of the stadium with no crutches or aided help. He was even wheeling his own suitcase out.

Hopefully, not as bad as first feared.

I've had my leg pinned like that before, on skis going 60+MPH, and it hurts like hell at the time and strains the ligaments but without any permanent damage or lasting discomfort. That's what I'm hoping for here.

    Good news hopefully.

As for TTA I thought he was very impressive with his composure and awareness, he added a bit of pace and defencive cover when we struggled for a while after Mane went off and Baines caused a few problems, our substitutions all had a good effect today, it is especially nice to see a local lad do well and he is steadily growing as a player, plenty of time on his side to compete for starting 11 yet but a definite solid backup even now.

Also great to see Lucas have a big game today his best for a long time.

It may still be 3 weeks or more. That may be the best case scenario

For a cameo he was positive, which is all you can really ask for.

I'm not going to peg him as a superstar in the making - too young to completely judge. But going out on a limb, I'd say he's set to be a very good player. How good? We'll have to wait and see.

I don't think you have to go out on a limb to have the opinion he is going to be a very good player.

Mate, we've seen people drolling over the likes of Ibe, and look what happened. I'm cautious about this stuff.

    Successful crosses today:

    Clyne in 80 minutes: 1
    Trent in 10 minutes: 1

If he doesn't get a chance over Clyne soon then I'm not sure he ever will.

I thought he did OK when he came on. Clyne unbelievably for someone who plays football for a living cannot kick the ball with his left footed he's not the only 1 footed player we have either. Give Milner his due he is one of the few who is two footed.

Here I think Klopp may need to bite the bullet. Clyne has given him sterling service but young Trent needs another opportunity.

    He has so much potential.

There's no way I'd be dropping Nat Clyne at this stage of the season.

Arnold looks like he could be a player but he hasn't been anything special. Certainly not good enough for this level yet imo, he's not that quick atall and looks lightweight. Not his fault atall but it was disheartening seeing him as our first sub yesterday.
