Ok, I wont argue as you obviously know him better than me, just thought he looked good at times with a bit of a nasty streak in him.

Haha I know, I'm not talking about off pitch antics but can see from interviews with him he's a bit dim.

He's a very good player and at a better c could really flourish.

Yes in the Derbys which in fairness that's where most on here get to see him and judge he overstepped the mark and should've been sent off.

Sure I heard a stat he'd created more chances for his team than any other PL player this season.

Barkley is a disgrace, he tried to do Lovren and he tried to do Hendo before Christmas, both of them challenges were definitely meant. Any respect and hope I had for him has long gone now.

He has got his own leg broke before and his team mate suffered one just this week, it is just cowardly to try and do it to someone else, he should know better, he should know how devastating it can be.

The lad is just a scumbag.

Gotta love Coutinho absolutely destroying him with his beautiful skill, leaving Barley on his ass

I'm writing about the player Barkley (not his tackles or anything from yesterday's game only)

His attributes are "the closest" to Gerrard
Whatever both player's careers were at any age is irrelevant to the opinion posted
One would argue that the younger Gerrard has the Owens Hammans and hyypias that Ross hasn't

Anyways it's my opinion not needing your blessings or permission... I see him much better than Hendo Whom now captains LFC instead of Gerrard

I would take him just to annoy the Bitters!

Not sure we need another no. 10 type player though.

We need a ST, DM, winger, LB, CB and GK.

I like him, but don't think he's the type of player we need at this point.

I think the chances of him ever moving to us are slim to none anyway, so it's kind of irrelevant.

Much, much more likely than us signing Mbappe!

Not good enough for Everton, nevermind Liverpool. Hasn't got the brain or temperament to ever get to the level of Stevie or Lampard.

Two great feet and built like an ox, don't get me wrong he's talented but what's he ever done to warrant such a reputation? Never done a thing in a derby.
Never played in the Champs league,
Never carried Everton to any form of silverware or any remarkable achievements.
Never really got near a dissapointing England team.
There's no place for dirty bluenoses in our squad.

**** no, Everton could improve on him with Sigurdsson. I honestly think if he had more than a year left on his contract Everton could call his bluff and say go on then la, see who wants you.

Was a real prospect 3/4 years ago but like many English players money and fame and adulation has gone to his head. Ali at Spurs will be the same.

Barkley was nowhere as good as Alli at 21. Alli is one of the best young players in Europe, and more than just a prospect already.

Really do hope he goes to Spurs, personally. Talented lad but he's nowhere near showing it consistently enough to make you think he's going to be in the top bracket of midfielders in this league.

Tottenham made two bad signings last summer in Sissoko and Janssen and then came within a whisker of selling Son only to pull out at the last minute. An absence of injuries and Son finding another gear went on to save them this season.

Hopefully they don't get away with it this time around.

I'm not sure he was "a real prospect" I think any English player who has a decent game under the age of 21 gets that tag.

Alli looks like a different kettle of fish though, he's currently having the season some overhyping pundits thought Barkley would maybe capable of having in a few years time.

You are kidding right, if they did make bad signings it had zero impact to them this season when you consider they had European football and Chelsea didn't

I would sign Barkley he offers something we don't have which is pace powerful running with the ball from midfield, hes always looking forward instead of sideways and backwards.
