Can't remember our part in this

    But goddamn parasites

The amount paid by English clubs to agents has risen by 38% - up from 160m to 220m.
The Football Association figures cover February 2016 to January 2017.

I disagree. He still has a lot to offer. Only 30, not 35.

I agree, not to start regularly but a very good squad option.

Those three together will cost about 150 mil lol. And Aubamayang is not going to choose Liverpool over a host of other top European clubs.

I like the effort, mate -
two things maybe - whilst the ins maybe be realistic, they ain't gonna happen
And the outs - the home grown quota is an issue and your list is incomplete too
Ings is 3rd or 4th in line, behind Origi - Firmino and Sturridge - surely that is due a trip to the scrapheap...
Marseille want Mignolet - Juve want Can and Barca want Coutinho.....

The opportunities are there this window.....

Harshly put, but in the cold light of day Sturridge has played for us much more over the last two seasons than Ings has.

I agree as well. But we'll have issues with the non-homegrown limits, so he'll probably be gone.

Here are the senior player numbers at the end of the season, providing everyone returns from loan.

HG - 11, NHG - 17, Total - 28. So that's right on the NHG limit and 3 over the total limit. Let's say Wisdom, Flanagan, Sakho and Markovic will be move on and we also sell/release Bogdan, Manninger, Randall and Lucas, we'll sit at HG - 8, NHG - 12, Total - 20. That gives us enough room to maneuver. We could bring in 5 senior players with all 5 of them being NHG.

The quota is 8 HG, allows 17 NHG.

For European squads you need at least 4 of your HG players to also be qualified as club trained - have we got any? Potentially Randall, Flanno and Wisdom - but how many of those do we expect to retain?

I thought it was a maximum of 16 NHG and a total of 25?

Hell and Purgatory are not even close - Hell is the end of the line - Purgatory is a stop along the way

Whereas, deadwood and scrapheap both mean no further use to us...............

And then there's the Knacker's Yard for the old and infirm... the crocked players, who've lost their speed and incentive.

No, I'm not. But I just checked. You're right. It's 25 total with a maximum of 17 NHG. I'll edit the post up there to reflect.
