You can have more than 17 foreign players - but you can only register 8 hg and 17 foreign

Look at Watford, they have or had 22 foreigners

Obviously this is about registering and actually being able to use them. And you can register 25 HG, if you want.

Klopps lack of defensive football means we could spend the same and end nowhere

that's why he'll spend it on the right sort of player. lack of, pressing is defensive as well as attacking as you know so it's an inaccurate statement

I know that you dont agree, but I think the changing managers all the time is a big reason we have such an inept squad.

They let kenny spend a lot of money to buy players for his system, his ideas, then he was sacked.

BR came in, it took him a long time to get rid of some of Kennys players as they did not fit the way he wanted to play, he then spent quite a bit on the players he wanted, that were not up to scratch at all.

Then in comes Klopp who has to try and make it work with the terrible set of players that BR bought in and it will take him a while to get his lot assembled now as well too.

We just need to stick with a manager for a while and give him time to get his act together, it took Klopp a while at Dortmund to get settled as well.

We also have a real hard time trying to sell off the players we dont want each time as well for some reason, it all adds up.

This constant shuffling of managers only works at clubs like chelsea because they have so many players on the books, so many players to chose from and they cost a lot more than ours so they are a better quality on average.

I was watching the Chelsea game yesterday thinking he's using the same players pretty much week in, week out, much like we tend to do where possible, and they don't look like they're suffering from fatigue.

With this in mind is it wise for us to use a style of play that requires a lot of effort and energy when we don't have a squad with a large pool of players to rotate and may not necessarily have the resources to attain one?

    yes because there is trust

barcelona have more squad depth now because just as well their best players are slowing. your last point is a good point buying younger players helps combat that

You are right I don't agree - a manager is only as good as the system and 46 wins from 93 games, being defensively inept, says it all - Klopp is another version of Rodgers

Rubbish as usual, the system is only as good as the players in it.

Unfortunately magic is not real, you cannot swap the manager, expect him to click his fingers and have everything change in an instant.

6-7 players, 30m average? Sounds about right.

Once in how many tries ?
Its hardly comparable to us, they have a massive pool of players that they can call on and their squad cost a hell of a lot more than ours did.

It works because he has the players for it. Luiz is a disaster in a back 4, so is Alonso. Moses is a winger with a RB playing CB behind him. He had already one and purchased another DM. He has a top class keeper and striker. The players, especially the defence, is better suited for how they play now than before the switch.
