Dortmund pull another 1 back.....lovely work from Kagawa.

First to control a difficult pass then the composure to cut back on his left.

Pulisic looks a very slick player, a bit like Lallana. I can see why Klopp rates him.

He's very quick, has some different qualities to Lallana.

Obviously, yes, but he also presses high, is very comfortable in possession and tight spaces, pops up everywhere...similar to Adam.

    Finished at 3-2 to Monaco

Dortmund had to work hard in second leg need 2 away goals and Burk must get clean sheet next week

Dortmund has been robbed by the refs. The penalty was a joke, Monaco's first goal was miles offside, second one was irregular too (foul on Bender) and then the ref didn't punish any of Mbappes countless dives but instead gave free kicks to Monaco. On top of that he added a ridiculously short extra time after 5 goals have been scored and Monaco's goalkeeper has tried everything to waste time.

I can't believe how lucky Monaco has been. They haven't even created one clear chance on their own. All of their goals were gifts from either the referee or Dortmunds defence. I think despite their talent they are way overrated. Without all their luck and the circumstances of the bombing attack they could have easily been shredded by a good Dortmund side. But the tie isn't over yet, Dortmund will probably have Reus back for the return leg.

Hopefully Dortmund will turn it round.

For some reason I didnt think Leicester fans would act like that with it being their first appearance in the top european competition, and their first appearance in Europe for 16 years. They might not be in it again for a while.
In any case Leicester have been in Europe 3 times previously and have been knocked out by Atletico in 2 of them.

Maybe they've got a few unwanted extras tagging that don't support them. Who knows.

What a shame people can't enjoy the occasion and send a positive message rather than a negative one.

Match should never have been delayed only 1 day but UEFA forced them into it.

Thomas Tuchel - has his knickers in a twist - over the rescheduling of the Monaco game.... Maybe he wasn't part of the process... Maybe it was someone higher than his pay grade that made the decision..... However, Dortmund were shell shocked in that 1st half yesterday......

UEFA say the decision involved the clubs.
Probably some senior executives who didnt think it worthwhile asking the players.
I was surprised it wasnt put back to next week.

It happens when most clubs go abroad, you just dont see it.
I agree its out of order, it has been part and parcel of football for a long long time, it really needs something doing about it, lets hope they all get banned from games or something.
