There's several bags of peanuts lying around here, though I've no interest in them at the mo.

I ended up eating a cheese and onion sandwich from Boots.
    I'm starving again now.

So glad that the horrible aftertaste has gone, though I'm playing it safe tonight and sticking to oat biscuits. (That was supposed to be some fried finger food, but it tasted more like dry cardboard in a burger-sized polystrene box )

I'm not sure which of our snacks to go for later?
We have a choice of Bombay mix or a large bar of Cadbury fruit and nut.

    Maybe both?....

Plain unsweetened soya milk with some McVitie's digestive biscuits

Actually bought several litres of that yesterday intending to make a pudding/dessert of some sort, obviously slurped most of it before any kitchen creation could happen

In the 'silly items' column of today's paper there was a photo of a large cake - with white icing on top etc.
And piped with green icing were the words… 'Find The Toenail.'

Cake Wrecks is my website of choice when it comes to decorating disasters.
Their "What They Ordered/What They Got" section has me in tears.

Plum and vanilla gin should fit the bill.

Lesson of the day: Be careful what you wish for

I was out having coffee when someone randomly came into my thoughts. A family friend which I hadn't seen for months due to our conflicting schedules. As I left the cafe, this same person walked right pass me, in the middle of a busy place. Just thought we could have had lunch together if she'd turned up earlier..

My lesson of the day is a little more mundane:Never look behind the fridge.
