Been making good use of all the pumpkin flesh from the pumpkin carving; spicy pumpkin and Apple soup for lunch, and pumpkin and raisin crumble for pudding later on.

    Speaking of Pumpkins....

I made a batch of spiced pumpkin paste last week. Its now ready-packed in the freezer for when I decide to use it.

I should make a banana cake today before the fruit I've been saving for it gets up and leaves.

I've made a batch of cherry and walnut birthday brownies for Mr kas.
We're going to scoff them with a couple of pints of cream.

Looks like it will be a pot of scouse for the weekend. I'll make it first thing tomorrow morning, though it might not last if the rest take a fancy to it

Big excitement on the food front here. They sell vegan cheese on the island!
I was never a particular cheese fan, but fancy making pizza tomorrow, so it'll be a welcome addition.

Bought a pack of Cadbury Snowy fingers today, can't say I'm amused by it. They just don't taste the same as compared to past years.. Guess I'll stick to the Crunchie biscuits instead..

I was going to ask the same thing.
I'm guessing some white chocolate winter themed version of chocolate fingers for the Christmas market?

Its the one with both milk and white chocolate. The biscuit is ok in its own right, it's the chocolate I don't really like..

I shall stick to good old original chocolate fingers,a bag of broken ones is only 99p and you get about two hundred of the little beauties.

Mum worked at Jacob's Biscuits in Aintree for a while in the 50s. She often came home with a big bag of all sorts of broken biscuits.

    Me and Dad loved it!
