I don't think we're still in for 3rd, so I rather have City win it.

So would I, but I don't think Guardiola is good enough to get a win in a game of this pressure with the players he has at City

If Man Utd win tonight we will soon be out of the top 4.

We were on the right path until that pathetic result against Palace, I mean at this stage in the season how on earth do you lose against a team at the bottom at Anfield, oh that's right Klopp didn't take our defensive problems seriously in the summer, he half arsed the upgrades.

    Karius - flop.
    Matip - good signing.
Milner - say what you want about him, but he looks awkward and has been a vulnerable target for most clubs this season.
Decided to stick with Lovren - Kvarme the 2nd
Klavan - nothing special, OK back-up.

What was Klopp's thinking when he came here concerning our defence, did he even review it? seems like he just brushed it off, all he had to do was look at our goals conceded under Rodgers and in his first season, 191 goals in the league conceded in last 4 seasons, we are on course to concede in total this season - 46 if you say we are going to concede a goal each in the next 4. He wasn't conceding this much at Dortmund, so why isn't he taking it seriously here.

It's a puzzlement. He stated quite clearly, early on, that any successful side has to be built from the defence up.

I remember that interview as well, I think it was the one where he was talking about how tactics were important as well, he did this at his former club, because when he was winning the league titles and was only conceding 20-25 league goals a season, he has worked with excellent defenders at Dortmund, surely he has observed Lovren enough now to see he is no good.

If you work and train with the likes of Hummels, Subotic and Santana you would spot Lovren as a bad defender a mile off.

Are you saying we have to play him because he was expensive?

He should of got rid of him in the summer for 10 million, he got rid of Balotelli, another flop who cost 16 million and he moved on for nothing.

We have more than enough deadwood - Price on head means nothing if they are not doing the business on the pitch

Our scouts have been atrocious in the last 7+ years, we have had a few successes here and there but overall we have bought poorly.

I can't believe how much we have spent at the back since FSG took the club, and its still our biggest headache.

    Absolutely right.
City are definitely going to be in the top 4 anyway.
We need United to lose this one.

We scouted Delle Alli but Ian Ayre turned him down.

Fellaini playing the clown again was mildly entertaining.
