    OIII!!!!

i remember during rafa's era we had really good songs at the games , always coming up with new ones.

nowadays we have literally nothing, i went to the celtic game a few weeks back and they have about 10-12 different songs and it was bouncing most of the game.

    what happened to us?

if i ever hear a liverpool fan signing that kolo/yaya chant , i will gladly slap them with a 50pound frozen sea bass

I miss songs about specific players.

I'd say the dross of players we've had over the last few years has contributed. I would expect a bigger variety of songs over the next year or two now.

Wouldn't mind a better song for Klopp either

********, there was a song about Colin Pascoe, but Sturridge doesn't really have one.

Best one this year was "Mane scoring, all around us, children playing... having fun it's the season love and understanding, Merry Christmas...Everton."

I was thinking a similar thing the other day when I started singing loads of the 04-08 songs to my son, we had loads of them and now the only player with a song is Coutinho.

I usually sing "Firmino" to the tune of "Tarzan Boy" to myself when he scores, but I am in a minority of one and usually in my living room getting an odd look from my dog. And surely Klopp could have a song to the tune of "99 Luftballons"..

Coutinho has one, as does Mane, Wijnaldum, and Lucas.

Lallana kind of has one, although its more of a chant than a song. The TAW lads thought of a cracking one for Clyne but I don't think its ever taken off.

Or start it in October and still sing it in January like Man Utd do with 12 days of Christmas one. Christmas will be all year round soon, our website is already advertising Christmas at Anfield, it's May FFS.

I do like Mane's but our chants are poor compared to the Rafa era. Celtic are amazing for their chants

Nothing beats a swaying kop singing Beatles tunes in the 60's.

Being a foreign fan and making this statement might seem strage, but i think a lot of the problems with the lacking atmosphere at Anfield compared to earlier might be the extreme amount of international fans. A lot of us coming from abroad just cant compete or give as much power to the songs and the anthems as the local fans.

We are in dire need of some new tunes, I mean Lallana, Origi and Firmino all have the same one and it's not even that good

Could be that. I went to a match not long ago....came from the U.S. Was the only guy in the hospitality stands singing. They didn't even sing YNWA.

We were easily outdone by the traveling Palace fans that day. Even before they went up. Atmosphere was no where near what I expected based off our past/history, but I did everything I could to do my part.

Maybe it's the play, maybe its the fans...who knows really. Only on occasion, it returns to what it used to be (at least from a foreigners perspective)

Always thought "La Bamba" suited "Lallana" perfectly.....

La la la la la Lallana
La la la la la Lallana
    Mane and Hendo
    Coutinho Firmino.
    Adam Lallana
    Adam Lallana
La la la la la Lallana etc.

    To celebrate our attacking midfield.

Season ticket holders above the age of 45, bigger problem

I'm in the Kop for every game, mostly in 305 most of the songs start here and a lot of foreign fans are up there too and they join in, especially the Norwegians.
